Search isnt working, so idk/idc if this has been posted before. I just had a random encounter with a merchant named Old Tegrin who sold a tome that granted one skill point, it was 12 gold.

Well you get a tome download with the game also, but I coudln't get the skill point from it. It says to use it and you will get the skill point and the tome will be useless afterwards. I use it and use it and use it but I never get the skill point. Also for some reason I seem to be getting more copies of it. Last I checked it said I had 3 of them. Still no skill point added though. >.< Not sure whats going on. Anyone else have this issue?

You need to use the tome and then close your inventory -- using the tome is queued up like any other combat action. If that doesn't work, drag the tome to your quickbar like you would an injury kit and use it from there.

Tried all that still no skill point.

The yellow words pop up like its being used but I never get the point.  Is the tome supposed to disappear once you use it or does it stay in your inventory?

Mine disapeared and I got the point.

It disappears and the little level up icon appears next to your character. Click on that and you can add the skill point.
