4) Decide if its worth your time and money

Of course the game will be "spoilt" for you but then again, you won't be blind sided like with ME3's ending.

 
I am already doing this with any game I have any emotional investment into since ME3 came out.

this is my biggest concern. i dont want to do something in ME1, to have ME2 change it, and have ME3 forget about it.

id say i dont want exactly what i got with the ME trilogy. that should be easy enough to understand. bioware did the opposite of what id have liked. pretty much.

wow not a lot of buyers here i see, WELL i will definetly buy it because

1. The mass effect trilogy is THE best trilogy in video game history for me. It have brought me many hours of entertainment, thrill tears and joy.
2. The Characters are so awesome and alive that it really make other game characters look weak.
3. Combat have always been fun and intriguing, especielly when you're up against 5 krogans in the first game or 10 freaking brutes in the third.
4. Import option is an awesome tool and i don't think they will throw it away.
5. The games have never dissapointed me , i can't really think of another game that i care so much about as the mass effect games. And im really tired of hearing about the end of the third game all the time because really? was it really that bad for you? I just applaude when i first finished it and thought, what a great trilogy. And the more people talks about something the more it bugs you. But i have gotten past that now and think that this trilogy is the best thing in gaming for ME .
6. It will use the frostbite 2 engine.. Sweeeeeeeet!
7. No more shepard. It's not a bad thing people, it will give us a new story and opportunities. Shepard was an awesome character for me and i loved my shepard but i like to leave him alone and have the trilogy for himself and let a new hero rise. Would love to see some memorials and other stuff of him in the universe though.

Depends on what I see concerning the game. I love the series to death but I need to see actual gameplay footage and hopefully an deeper MP

The MP is the reason ME3 had next to no real quests and so many friggin' fetch quests. (It was made by the same studio in charge of many of the ME2 side missions.) The horde mode took resources and money away from the actual game. The MP was inserted as a moneymaker by EA because some people have no impulse control and spend real money unlocking useless ammo packs. Unfortunately, you're likely to get your wish as the MP is the only part of the game making EA money these days. It's a sad day when a rich, immersive, fairly scientific RPG becomes just another derivative shooter.

EAware can fix this game before they move on to a new one. Since that doesn't seem as though it's going to happen, they can do without my money.

i only play bronze/silver and i get enough money to buy boxes.
