At this rate, it will be as much of a dud as DA2 was. I'm still hesitant with what we got with ME3, and they even moved the release date forward 3 months.

It's up to BioWare now. They keep asking what we want and then giving the opposite or ignoring their fanbase altogether in the hopes that the ones that are unhappy with ME3 will quietly leave and never come back. They need to win me back after everything that has happened.
- I'm still waiting, BioWare.
Yeah. Instead of trying to get us back, BW wants us to disappear.
I find that sad. I'd like to go back to the things before ME3, or even TOR (where I personally started seeing the cracks. I don't play DA, so I can't comment on the supposed fiasco over DA2). But the way things are going don't appeal to me. And I've made it clear what I want from BW. I want plot holes addressed and retconned, I want things to make sense, I want less action and more storytelling and agency with my character.

If we get to customize our "hero" with a choice of gender and, at least, choose one of the council races, it will be a step in the right direction.
If the game is built like the Leviathan DLC, I'll buy it for sure. (Intrigue, suspense, mystery)
If it's built like the Omega DLC, I might pass (FPS shooter, go from point a to point b, combat oriented throughout)

Unfortunately, as long as they are under EA's control, you will never see a game like that coming from BioWare.

There needs to be a balance. A rhythm. I didn't feel that balance in ME3. I want more in ME4. I will be watching the development to see where their heads and hearts are at.
So, instead of "no", I'll amend that statement to "we'll see". Truth is, I doubt they'll miss my lil bit of money, either way. Lol. But I know for a fact that I'll miss them. So, here's hoping...

Choosing dialogue options is tiresome.
Lastly, they have to keep the 2 dialogue options from ME3. More options than that will just confuse me.

Agreed. Decent RPG's are a rarity. Shooters are a dime a dozen. And I fear EA is more concerned with attracting CoD players than letting BIoware tell a story.
The entire shooter genre is stagnating. People are pretty much paying for multiplayer maps those days, and the sad part is, its a good money-making method.

I'll only buy it if Shepard's largely automatic dialogue is still there.

Hmm... it's funny, but it's got 'going to be quoted by Mac Walters in the future' all over it...

ME3 was very bad game and ruined the franchise. No, I am not the one who thinks that everything was "perfect" except for the ending. Whole game was a mess and Bioware will not get my $ until they will remake ME3.
I was instantly let down when couldnt import from ME1/2....as the one i had to then create was just bizzare looking, then met vega whom i didnt know, luckily then saw ash as for a moment i thought i was sold the wrong game......but the game was mediocre at best but the ending travesty masked all of that. ME3 is a continued trend of substandard gaming from bioware.......DA2/TOR/ME3......and aslong as the EA logo is present then there is no hope for ME4.

One thing for sure - I won't be buying into the BioWare hype again, especially if the names Hudson and Walters are mentioned.

If that is good, then maybe ... after a ton of reviews from people who have the same taste as me. That would be Gamefront, Giga.de (germany) Archengeja (if he is doing videos again at that time) and AngryJoe for example and of course some people here on BSN.
Oh, that means no pre-order for me of course.
