Now, I am probably sure this topic has been discussed before but if it has been discussed recently please send me a link to such discussion.

I've done this & that & this & that to try and get the multiplayer functioning but it's the same master server connection error I even see a lot of people complain about.

So my question is this, WILL the master server ever be working again because of  what I've read about gamespy pretty much tossing it in the gutter....or is there something I am not seeing here?


An answer to my question would be much appreciated because I like playing the NWN games.
About three months ago when I played this game online, it wasn't doing this...although it still gave the master server error connection, it still allowed me to connect to servers online when I clicked OK and went to join multilplayer games.

Use your history or favorites list to connect, or visit the forum of the worlds you enjoyed playing on for Direct Connect IP information.

 There's nothing stopping you from playing multiplayer. The only thing we have lost is the abiity to browse games. The servers are still thre, and you can still connect to them.

Direct Connect with an IP address is the way to go. For browsing you can use X-Fire. And the community is also working on a new hack that will be better than what we had before.
