I put a deposit down for the watch ages ago using dollars and I'm from UK. I just received this email, is it legit? I have already put down a deposit
Hello fine watch enthusiast,
You were one of the first to order the N7 Ambassador Watch, but we've
hit some snags with International orders that we'd like to talk to you
about.
It turns out that shipping the watch out of the EU isn't going to be
practical. There were only 15 of you in this first batch, and the
added time and complexity of shipping them through customs and having
a second warehouse check them in before sending them back out to you
just doesn't make sense....
Instead of canceling orders, though, we're going to explain how
shipping the watch to you from the US store will get you your watch
much faster and for basically the same amount of money at the end of
the day. Of course, if you don't want to deal with this and would
rather just cancel, we'll completely refund your deposit.
The math is at the bottom of the email for the curious among you.
Basically, we're making you jump through an extra hoop, but you still
get your watch, and sooner, and save a couple bucks for the hassle....
Still with us? Alright, here's how it's going to work:
1. You have to sign in to the store, using the email address we're
mailing this message to.
2. Switch to the US store using the store switcher up top.
3. Click this link to get to the watch:
http://biowarestore....ador-watch.html (If you're logged
out, or logged in with a different email address, or still in the EU
store, this link won't work.)
4. Add the watch to your cart and you'll see a discount applied
automatically. Don't panic about the price on the page; the discount
only shows up once you get it into your cart.
5. You can apply your store credit to the purchase so the regular
discount more closely matches what you already paid.
6. Check out as normal to pay for the rest of the watch. The shipping
fee includes both VAT and an upgrade to expedited service.
7. Wait by the door for your watch (it's even nicer and bigger and
heavier than the pictures made it look).
If you don't get an order confirmation, let us know and we'll make
sure you're sorted out. We know this is kind of clumsy, but this whole
situation of shipping from different countries has turned out to be
vastly complicated. Thanks again for ordering, happy holidays, and if
you have questions, please contact us.

Here is how the numbers work out, if you want to keep us honest.
US store orders to international customers look like this:
$475 watch price + $40 shipping + $95 VAT = $610 - $150 deposit = $460 owed
Your deposit was 150 Euro, which we'll treat as $199. When you get the
standard $150 deposit credit, we'll still owe you $49 to make up for
the exchange rate. We're going to add $60 of store credit to your
accounts that you can use for this purchase to keep things as fair as
possible ($49 in exchange rates, rounded up as an extra thank you).
Your checkout will look like this:
$475 watch price + $40 shipping + $95 VAT = $610 - $150 deposit - $60
store credit = $400 owed
If we put the watch in the EU store like we expected to, you would pay:
450 Euro watch price (including VAT) + 15 Euro shipping = 465 Euro -
150 Euro deposit = 315 Euro owed = roughly $417 owed
Is this Email legit?

Yes - it is legit. I followed the instructions the same day I got the email (on Monday - Dec 17th). You essentially are placing a second order for the remainder of the price (+ $9.99 for shipping in my case). Got the watch last night (the 19th) and just stared at it. Damn nice watch...too nice to wear.
I was a bit confused though...I didn't think I'd have to order a 'second' time for the difference...thought the original $150.00 deposit order would remain open until it was ready to ship and then be charged for the remainder. Looks like Biowarestore took a different approach.
