Not really hung up on races, but if we get a dwarf I want him/her to be as smooth/interesting as Varric/Sigrun, not an annoying drunkard like Oghren. The ability to romance said smooth talking dwarf would be awesome as well. Maybe Dagna.

I agree Bevin and Connor would make good companions; plus it been about seven to ten year sence DA:O making then eightteen at the youngest or in their twenteis which means there of age. (also is can picture Conor being sent to a circle in Orlais because of his noble birth)

I also agree with the "smooth/interesting" dwarf, dut lets try some a bit new in game like a silent sister like Utha who's smoth kind, and who's not afraid to nock afew at the pub.   

1. I can see Fiona Ryhs and Evangeline as cameos for the mage side of the war
2. The elf girl you save in DA2 (please feel to tell me her name because I can never remember it) because we hear she's pick up sword play after we saved her and she is of age. I could she her as like some kind of bard maybe.

I want entirely new companions. The only person from Asunder I'd like to see in my party is Evangeline, but it doesn't make much sense for her to be in the party since she's clearly with the mages now.

You don't think we'll have the opportunity to recruit help from the mages or from those who side with them?

Mind you, I'm not particularly interested in Evangeline (she's okay, I guess, but her personality didn't do anything special for me one way or another), but I don't think her choosing sides would affect her availability as a companion.

Do not assume I'm one of those people who're crazy for Cullen. As a matter of fact, My Wardens and I never like that templar. DA 2's event didn't change that either.

No old characters from previous titles should be made companions for future DA series. Start every series with new protagonist, story and companions. We do not have enough slots for old characters who would be most likely going to change their personality.

I don't get the hate for Cullen. Cullen fans don't make tons of threads talking about how great and awesome he is. Most of them stay in a single thread in the companion board.

P.S. I realize that I probably don't sound very convincing with a Cullen sig.

We have Cassandra representing the chantry / seekers and Cullen representing the Templars so to balance it out a bit we need mage so maybe Rhys?

I want an Orlesian Chevalier of high rank who lost his army in the civil war and so decided to join the inquisitor.
A Grey Warden (preferably from the Anderfels so he is more invested in Warden politics, maybe the second to the first warden)
I want a Dalish archer to represent the Dalish faction
Oh and Hawke, I want Hawke as a companion advocating of the interests of the faction he supported at the end of DA2 (so mages in my case)

I want a Rivaini women who reveals little about herself except false information but then it turns out she is a Qunari spy accessing the situation for them.

I don't think his hate has anything to do with that. Various characters in the game said and did horrible things and they don't get the kind of hate Cullen and his fans get. I just find it a pattern that whenever a guy garnered a lot female following, they seem to get hated a lot by the male audience. I'm not saying that's the case with you, but it seems to be generally the case. I barely see any pro-Cullen threads but mostly anti-Cullen threads, but I digress.
