I'd loooooooove to have Cassandra as a companion and male straight LI.

Other than her (and Cullen), I wouldn't mind Stroud and Maraas, especially if they can keep the voice actors from DA2. Stephane Cornicard and especially Keith Szarabajka... pure awesomeness.

1. Characters that can be dead in some playthroughs probably won't appear as party companions. Allocating resources to major content that many players won't see doesn't make financial sense. Yes, I know Leli has come back but not as a party member (yet), and I doubt BW will make a habit of resurrection, it causes such ill-will.

2. Characters that have been party members before probably won't be so again. There might be an exception or two. It's just my opinion but it makes sense for many reasons.

3. This thread duplicates at least two others, which could have been bumped.

4. I would like:

A Tevinter mage.
Dagna, maybe as party enchanter or full companion.
Chasind of some kind, barbarian is cool.
A pet dragonling, griffon or something other than another Mabari hound. We're not all dog people, you know?
An Orlaisian cheese merchant in my castle because I wear the cheese is does not wear me!

3) Not Cullen, but that other Templar who also has no relevance at all. He was pretty cool.

I'd like to have a team composed majorly from new characters (I'd like to have a completely new team, but I think that some NPC, like Cullen or Cassandra, will be in the party).

Bring back the Dwarfs! Interestingly, how about Felsi? Her character is alive, could become a possible romance for the Inquisitor, and could have a past as working with the Cartels. That would allow the Inquisitor to move around and get information from the Underground which could prove to be very useful.

I think if we get any companions that we've previously met, it'll be Cassandra and Cullen. MAYBE Leliana, but probably not.

Other than that, I think we'll get at least 1 dwarf, and elf, and a grey warden.

And maybe a Tal-Vashoth. I hope to god Tallis isn't a companion.

I have to agree with the few people who mentioned missing female dwarves. We've only had a single female dwarf and she was pretty awesome. I also agree that it just won't feel right without at least 1 dwarf companion, so why not make that companion a female?

Looking at the spoiled companion lists, it seems as if we know of 7 companions for the next game already. If we end up with at around 10 companions or so, then that leave only 2-3 more spots open. Since there are already 4 fighters in the list, it seems likely that, if there is a dwarf, they will be a rogue. So I'm putting my vote forward for a female dwarven rogue. While I loved Sigrun as a bad ass lady rogue, I'd prefer to see a more sultry dwarf rogue. Think Isabela, but about a foot shorter. Not necessarily a LI, either. Just a flirty, sexy lady dwarf rogue.

There, that's my vote.

Yes Eamon has another child with Isolde and the childs name is Eamons sisters name Rowan..
But Rowan is even younger.. So Rowan is still to young to be a companion

Well, I came to the thread a bit late... all of my choices have been mentioned several times.
Granted a lot of my choices depend heavily on what choices were made during DA and DA2. Many characters could be dead from my list depending on run throughs. And I have no idea how that will be handled.

I can only hope that past events (if you import) will be taken into account. Though the idea of being able to swap npcs randomly depending on past events would be friggin awsome, it wont happen anytime soon unless programmers writing this game are miracle workers. The man hrs alone on that boggles the mind.

All new companions please. Not any returning ones, especially Cullen. He has been in the first 2 DA game and if he is I hope to have a chance getting rid of him permanetly. Also cameos from DA 2 is all I desire too but none as companions at all.

I think I am in the minority when I say I don't want a Tevinter magister as a companion. Especially if they are old. Even a young one (20-35) would just be strange b/c if it would mean becoming a magister does not require much experience and it diminishes their credibility. If that is what they are going for, how the magisters are not that golorius in these times, then I expect the other people to react accordingly. It raises too many questions. Surely at one point they must have had slaves and preformed vile rituals. That is exactly why I don't want an old magister. So what would prompt this sudden change of heart after years of torture on others?

However, I would not be opposed to a Tevinter MAGE or son/daughter of a Tevinter magister. Maybe I am not understanding something but if there is such a companion, there had better be a very good reason as to why he/she became a magister in the first place and then suddenly became different.

P.S if there going to be an evil magister then I fail to see why a rouge/warrior would let him/her travel with them.
