Surely at one point they must have had slaves and preformed vile rituals.

A lot of magisters are evil, but not all of them.

SPOILER
There is a female magister in 'Those Who Speak' who is definitely on the good side.

I want a Tal'Vashoth, because it would be interesting to look more closely at what motivates some Qunari to forsake the Qun and take a look into their perspective of Qunari culture and why they decided to leave it.

Maevaris is on Varric's side. That doesn't make her "good."

I'd love to see a female human assassin-style rogue who has the exact same personality as renegade female Commander Shepard. Bonus points if she's voiced by Jennifer Hale. More bonus points if she's not a potential love interest.

I would like a good looking templar coincidentally named Cullen.

kidding, it would be nice to have the downright evil yet funny mage like Edwin. Its been done before but I enjoyed him. Also an outcasted Qunari that dislikes the Qun and is all about the money now...and candy

Hmmm how about a non-sarcastic rogue? Blasphemy I know, but it'd be a nice change. Something different!

Another character like Bishop, maybe. His mocking, apathetic demeanor, while annoying at first, I found to be enjoyable. I liked the back and forth mock war I could have with him.

Oh, and Cullen. :P

I would very much like to see Evangeline de Brassard as a companion. I think she's interesting, compelling and would act as a bridge to the mage rebellion, the Templar Order, and the characters of Origins.

1. Kossith Tal-Vashoth
2. A Grey Warden/somebody from the Anderfells
3. A 'weird' companion (in the vein of Shale, Justice, HK-47, and Legion.)
EDIT: 4. Charade

Well, that's about it. I look forward to seeing what turns out, even if it's none of these.

In no specific order.

1) Charade
2) A qunari/tal-vashoth mage
3) A Grey Warden
4) Something that's not human, elf, dwarf, Qunari/Tal-Vashoth or dog
5) Tallis
EDIT: 6) A former enemy. Something like how you got the option to recruit Loghain in Origins.

Someone like Shaun from the Assassin's Creed series would be a joy. Preferably a mage or warrior though.

  He gets way too much hate. I find his sarcasm and humour incredibly entertaining considering it mirrors my own.

The companions that are definitely in are Cullen, Cassandra and Stroud. Rest is debatable. Cole can only be a companion, if you sided with Mages during Broken Circle and against Branka in Anvil of the Void.

Besides that i seen Elven archer, a mage guy (probably from Tevinter) and a mage girl.

I would personally like to have Hawke as companion if that's possible.

1)  Loghain (Only if he lives in DA:O, like  the way BW did with the companions in ME3)
2) A Disciple (really enjoyed them as an enemy in Awakening)
3) A grey warden (If we can't have Loghain)
4) A Dwarf (Non surface one, perhaps from Kal-Sharok)
5) A Magister

Hm, Charade? Because she seems to be like her father only with charm. She also strikes me as the somewhat socially awkward type, but remains confident nonetheless.

A male dwarf/elf/human/kossith/goldish that is voiced by Brandon Keener.

Anyone who is heavily sarcastic, I was having a pretty bad day today and jumped into Origins and just one single line from Morrigan made me laugh harder than it probably should have "We're threatening priests now? How fun!" ideally a female kossith.

Also, is it possible to get a companion with a really delicious accent? Origins had Leliana and Zevran, DA2 had Sebastian and ME has Garrus and Tali. I've noticed most fans do tend to be a sucker for voices, also it could just be that I've been playing too much of Far Cry 3 and have fallen in love with Citra's vo.

Charade is really only the specific example I can think of since for a companion to be new I want them all sparkly and shiny new, not "Oh hey! Remember me?" type of new.

Edit: Regarding DA2 voices, Merril and Fenris of course ^_^

Agreed! In each game I noticed his work station was set far away from the others - he's a loner, but a smart-ass loner. I'd always have Desmond try to talk to him, even long after I got the: "Hello Desmond. Go away." XD

Now that my fangirl moment is over...

Ohhhh you are quite right. Accents drive us wild. Fenris, Zevran, Garrus, Tali, and even though Varric didn't have an accent perse, I loved his voice.

No Cullen. If I had my way Cullen would have died in the hands of my rogue Hawke when he tried to take Hawke's sister away to circle.

Sigrun. :D
In most of her Awakening epilogue slides she buggers off to the Deep Roads, maybe we could find her there. Even if she supposedly dies defending the keep, they could say the darkspawn took her there for... some reason.
I don't even necessarily want her back as a companion, but she's too wonderful to not be included at all.

Cassandra, Leliana, Cullen, a talking Leopard, I hope that Morrigan won' t become a Companion its been more than 10 years since the Blight she should be very strong by now. That means it wouldn't make sense to develop her skills once more. Though I hope she will be in the game as an important character.

I've heard Cullen enough. I get it, you like him, etc, etc. No judgment on you, but I don't want this particular thread filled with Cullen.

I'm wondering what you guys want to see. Go as crazy as you want. Which new companions would you like in your party?

Me, personally, I would love to encounter seven-years-older Connor Guerrin. I think it'd be cool to see who he turns into. I know with the choice aspect of that it might be a little frustrating, but that's where my mind is.

What about the rest of y'all?

Hmm companions. Well definitely 'NO way hosey' to Cullen. That guy was so sanctimonious and moany. Not as bad as dlc guy Sebastion who is the only dlc I desperately tried to uninstall once I got a taste of his misery.

Im hoping for a new bunch of buddies to get to know. I enjoy that so much about rpg gmes, getting to know new and interesting companions. I dont have a 'type' but I do have a thing against really preachy moany obessed characters. (not naming anyone in particular like Anders)

Of course I would love some companions with great sense of homour and charm and fun. Not too keen 'on the oh Im still finding myself' thing that Fenris had going on. Too much ME  ME ME.

In a game I like to be the main thing, the hero, the gorgeous, riveting, fascinating and clever, sexy smart one. So only room for one with me me me syndrome. Lol. (Thats mePosted Image)

Maybe a group of groupies?

Well no maybe not but definitely characters who ask me questions sometimes and show an interest or awareness of my characters needs and desires. Id like to feel that my companions are there for me as much as I am there for them.

They need to know that even if I don't ASK for a gift I sure would love one! Like that flower Alistair gave my character in DAO. Nice to get some appreciation once in a while.Posted Image
