Specifically, it's the 200th anniversary of the publication of Die Kinder und Hausmärchen (Children's and Household Tales), Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm's collection of the best fairy tales of their age.

Thought it'd be nice to start a topic on this. So among the tales, which is your favortie?

The one when the person gets killed (derp face). Seriously, ummmm...sue me but I cannot remember the name of my favorite. It's the one where the which has a candy house and lures two kids to come inside and eats one of em'.Image IPB

Hansel and Gretel. :) Although they have more fairy tales in which people get killed (Little Red Cap for instance).

It's difficult to pick a favorite. classics like Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are of course awesome, but a less known tale I liked is The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was (LOL, what a title).
