At least GFWL has a recent players list and the ability to message non-friends, something both Steam and Origin seem to be lacking (though Steam might have it, I haven't really looked particularly hard)

I picked one of the lowest scores. Seriously, that thing verifying my game+dlc at EVERY start-up is annoying. Let me play the game already! What's next? You want my biometrics, shoesize and favourite colour?

"What is your favorite color?"

"Blue, no, Yellooooooooooowwwwwwwww........"

All people that answer with "no" will have problems to log in Origin and will loose connection in wave 10-11 during ME3 match. And it will be called a "coincidence".

I play on the ps3 because of what I went through with battlefield 3. Updating origin just to take the survey.

I am wondering who are the 4 people who voted "yes". I guess they have the worse friends ever.

Got this a while back aswell.
I like screenshot capabilities and this thing lacks them.
Also Origins not that compatible with steam and my mouses drivers making my scroll wheel not work and Fraps saves the images as BMPs that are like 3mb and I dun wanna buy the full version.
Then there's the new UI for origin in game that actually slows down fps by a noticeable margin.
Frequent crashing, forcing us to use this service for ME3 and other games by EA... I don't like being forced to do anything.

0 Just out of hate and spite from me aswell.
They should have asked some more constructive feedback.
But right now. Am not happy with Origin... also the prices in the store are still too damn high.

So that's why my game is running 20-30 fps slower. It went from flawless smooth experience to barely playable, even choppy at times. At first I thought I got a virus but now I know it's this useless POS "service" that we're all forced to use. Only god knows what kind of spyware this release was bundled with. If Bioware continues to use this...service in the future, then I might just stop buying Bioware games altogether. I don't want to be forced to install a useless program with questionable purposes which also slows down my system for no reason.

Honestly, Origin hasn't been too awful for me.

But I remember GFWL. I remember the horror. The terror. I launched Dawn of War 2 for the first time, and that was when I knew it- there wasn't gonna be any forgettin' after this. This was a memorable kinda terror. It ain't something you forget so easily.

Wish I could comfort my fellow veterans... I can sympathize, you know? I was... I was there last night. *eyes glaze over as screams, gunshots, and explosions are heard in the background*

Someone said Origin isn't compatible with Steam - it actually kind of is. If you add Origin and ME3 to Steam using the "Add non-Steam game" option, you can use the in-game overlay and start the game through Steam. Unfortunately, it doesn't enable Steam friend list interactivity (stuff like inviting Steam friends to join your game) as it doesn't make it run on Valve's servers. If only..

Oh God.  Warhammer 40K, trying to get GWL working just so I could play the bloody single player. Took hours.  Compared to that Origin works like a dream.

I was so glad when they moved to Steam for Retribution.

I've never had the "joy" of playing on Origin. I'm too busy shuffling around in the mud like the peasent i am :P.

You can shut it off by unclicking the origin in game option in origin.
Fixes it right up... too bad you lose chat in game.

I didn't notice any slowdowns in ME3.

Battlefield 3 on the other hand... I guess the new stream thing is running in the background for no reason.

We can all agree steam is king. If ME3 was on steam, I'd have bought it for PC, but I will NEVER, go back to origin. *Shudders*

this should be a lesson we learned today about EA customer service.
