So I do a couple of bronze matches this afternoon while waiting for company to turn up at my house. One thing I have noticed, and this happens in silver too and even with people with high N7 levels and challenge ratings, but they go down to something. Don't care what it is or how stupid it was. But I am standing less then two foot away and they instantly revive themselves with medigel. Ok maybe they didnt realise I was so close. They go down again, sometimes the same wave, often with me being in sight of them or right in front of them. Insta-medigel again. Wtf?? Ok, so now they have to have only two medigel left. Most of these people do not help with the objectives and need to be revived, get stomped on because no one wants to leave the objective zone and don't use medigel because of being about to be stomped. Next wave, they insta-medigel themselves again.

Is this insta-medigel a common occurence or am I just playing my matches with... I don't know what to call them... And if it is a common occurence, no bloody wonder you people never have medigel left!!!

It never happened. Your game is deceiving you. No one went down.

- rage
- wanna make the game go faster
- died in a position where the revival would take too much risk for a teammate. (Not in your case obviusly, just listing general reasons.)

One word rage. It doesn't matter if I die in your arms. Usually only when its a bs death.

I never rage-gel, gotta keep everything at 255 if possible for extra gears. Although I admit rage-missle is a bit more common :3 (in gold) I feel ashamed using consumables in bronze.

Also:

-attempting to reload-cancel just as you're killed
-attempting to use an ops pack and hitting the wrong key (this happens to me a lot. "Argh, stupid ops pack, why won't you work" *hammers key* *dies* *instantly revives* "Bugger!")

Rage gel for sure. Played with someone last night that went down right next to me and gelled instantly. I was like dafuq?

Sometimes its a good idea to use medigel instantly because if you don't, enemies tend to flock towards your corpse and crowd it like a flies around sh**. Better to only have to dodge 1 enemy when u get up than have to fight 5 instead.

You people as in people that complain about having no medigel =P It was a generalisation that should have been more specific then I made it.

I swear some of them are hitting medigel before they even hit the ground though!! I can understand it in gold and platinum. But silver and bronze? Yeah sure if you are just about to bleed out completely or get stomped. Don't know about anyone else but I start moving towards someone that gets downed the instant I hear/see it. Some of these are before I even get to react in the slightest

When I do it, it's these reasons.
Plus: Died because of my own over-confidence.

Normally I have the opposite problem with pugs, no one wanting to revive at all. Even when it's totally safe and the player was at their feet. Most pugs just seem to walk away.

You have to take into account though, the amount of times Bioware has buffed enemy curb stomp. Collectors, troopers, Trolloons are on you in a second nowadays. I even had a Trolloon use Smash on me once to stagger me, melee to take my last bar of health then he somehow managed to stomp me before i'd even hit the deck. Cheating basterd!

Sometimes because I accidentally press Medigel while I wanted to reload-cancel :S, so I happen to press it the second I die.

Usually it's because I've gone down because I've done something stupid and I don't want to make someone else run over and put themselves at risk for my mistake.

Sometimes it's because the game has ignored repeated attempts to use an ops-pack and I'm pissed the simple game mechanics don't work.

I can understand that one, I have done that a couple of times myself. But like I said, this is happening constantly and really consistently. It isn't rage, it is just stupid. And with no enemies around them at all either.

I have noticed that people are seeming not to revive anymore. Hell I want the revive medals, I don't need them, but it is some easy points hahah

And I haven't been stomped that quickly by anything for a while myself

The amount of times I've died mid-RC and thus found myself wasting a medi-gel unintentionally is too high for me to remember... then there are the times when I die in a position where it'd be difficult for teammates to revive me, not to mention the (thankfully rare) situations in which I medi-gel out of embarassment and/or rage. >.>

Rage/embarrassment geling I've been there.
Going down in too much traffic, for the safety of the team it's better to gel yourself if you can.
And about to get stomped, gel.

Yeah but on bronze and silver? Everything dies with ease on those difficulties. Higher difficulties I can understand. But not bronze. Everyone should be able to get through bronze without using any equipment
