If they don't tie the plot for Hawke and Warden, would you still buy DA3?

If they are still going to leave loose ends through the entire DA franchise then its useless to play any of the games considering that you dont geta valid conclussion

IF they could have made the game where you can choose to play as either warden, hawke or new character and in that case be able to pick where you left off and to really get the ending of the story that you need or at least shoud have been

A lot of unexplained things and a lot of time spent on DA / DAO and DA2..

After all that time and commitment with characters, would it put you off the game to simply remove Hawke and Warden and not tie up the loose ends?

I think I'd still buy the game.

I've been wondering ever since the second game was released how the heck they're gonna tie these plots together. Maybe they'll think of something, then decide that it doesn't work and then just leave the plots untied anyway. I don't see this being all that unlikely. :?

I think it's safe to say that we won't get a chance to play as the Warden or Hawke again in any future Dragon Age games.

My warden did the sacrifice in DAO so there is nothing more for the warden as far as i am concerned.
From Hawke all i want is some text that you can read in about two minutes and then i don’t want the name Hawke mentioned again in the game.

New characters new PC with a new story.

The number of loose ends in DA is too damn high.

Seriously though, it feels like every major plotline or important piece of lore is still mysterious and up in the air. So long as we start to get some resolution on some of these topics (Old God Baby, Flemeth, Darkspawn & The Old Gods, Andraste, Magic, What happened to our protagonists, and countless more) that'll be OK. But if it's another game where we just blunder through and never get to the bottom of anything, I expect I'll be done with DA.

What happened to the Warden, and what happened with Morrigan and the OGB, is something of a dealbreaker for me however. Hawke was just another protagonist, he wasn't my character, so I couldn't really care about what happened to him anymore. But I am still interested in what happened through the Eluvian.

I think Hawke's and the Warden's stories were tied up at the end.

Their mysterious disappearance is the only thing about the Warden or Hawke that I want to have explained. I doubt it's a coincidence and given Flemeth's involvement with both of them, I can't help but wonder if she - or someone like her, such as an enemy - has something to do with it. For this reason, I expect cameos. Maybe a quest or series of quests to get to the bottom of what their fates were but I doubt that'll be plot centric. At least, not yet.

So far, I'm getting the impression that Thedas has so much going on that no one is noticing what's happening underneath all that. The different peoples of Dragon Age are too busy worrying about the situation with the mages, the possibility the Qunari will invade, ending the Blights for good and finding stability with the elves. I could go on but my point is that worldly concerns are keeping Thedas distracted from a bigger and more insidious picture. A picture Flemeth seems to "get". Until DA is dealing with that, I don't expect to see the Warden or Hawke again. And even then, I doubt they'll be the center of attention but rather, one puzzle of many for a new protagonist to figure out.

So, yes. I'll still be buying the games and other stuff. The books don't have anything to do with Hawke. "Dawn of he Seeker" said nothing about the Warden. Dragon Age is about so much more than them.

I can see a return for Hawke. He was involved intimately with the start of the whole Mage/Templar thing and the Inquisitor surely would want to speak to him. The wardens story, I think , is probably over .
