edit: .. i should go to the IFAM ... a friend of mine works there .. they have the best 3d-printers .. (material science)

Hm...just out of idle curiosity, if I wanted to do that, what would I ask Santa for exactly? ;-)

You mean purely money wise based on material costs? or with the time spend fixing the model? :)

You mean purely money wise based on material costs? or with the time spend fixing the model? :)

Vallejo model colors: AWESOME paint.

However, you might have to do it a couple of coats. It can be rather thin at times.

Actually, this looks really cool.

@MACharlie1, ah :) well, it was printed by shapeways. Having this printed by $1200 home 3d printers is just a no-go. Shapeways has those $60,000+ printers...

For example, this one was used for the weapon, head and hands:

Yes, but that was because it was japanese. Everything they do is silly.

And with a bit of luck, when you have the money, the 3d printers will be even better :)

Working on the 3d  model of my sheppard... :) It's a bit harder then expected though, but doable.
