Hi,
It doesn't seem that anyone has asked this yet or at least the forum search didn't return any results but the save games for ME1 on PS3 (PSN version) are locked and cannot be backed up to a USB drive. ME2 and ME3 save games were not locked, allowing me to back them up without having to purchase Playstation Plus. So it seems like a bug with ME1. It's not like Bioware has any reason to lock ME1 saves but not lock ME2 and ME3. Can Bioware please fix this with a patch?
After spending so many hours in the ME universe, I really don't want to lose save games and Playstation Plus doesn't appeal.
I'm otherwise really enjoying ME1 on PS3. There are a few other minor bugs like the rally squad command suddenly failing to work until a restart and some dialog lines repeated (but better than the occasional cut off dialog lines in ME2). I originally played ME1 on PC but that was a long time ago. Maybe those bugs existed back then too. Sound volume balancing seems better on PS3 than PC though which is nice, although not as good as ME2 and ME3.
Thanks,
Mustfly.
Bioware, please fix locked ME1 save games on PS3

1. You are making a technical complaint in a non-tech forum.
2. Bioware will never see it here.
3. All official help is c/o EA Help.

I'm sure Bioware is working on a patch to solve many problems/bugs for the ME Trilogy. So that should include the ME1 PSN edition.

Thanks Just-Me. I didn't realise that. I just scanned the forum titles and this one seemed the only relevant one for ME1 PS3. Looking more closely now, I see mention of "Answer HQ or EA Customer Service." in the PC/XBox tech forum description.
I see someone just posted the same question yesterday on Answers HQ:

Since I can't seem to sign in using Firefox on Linux (my windows is broken), I'll just lurk and see if anyone replies to them

I also had a helluva time getting any browser I want to use to work at the new Answers HQ site. I use Opera with my newer PC (on which Answers HQ doesn't like FireFox), but with the old clunker I have in here, it wouldn't let me log in with Opera or Firefox, so I'm using something called "Orca" that would work there.
