Hey, I have a hornet as a back-up on high cool down characters with a short-mid range shot-gun so that I can at least do some damage long range if need to during objective rounds.  What else can give some long range damage for only a 3% cooldown penalty?

At least since ULM has been fixed I get into a lot less arguments in the lobby :-)

My Kroguard did quite a few solo runs only with pistols,but he is adopted:D

That is.... awesome.  Just frigging awesome.

I didn't know the Hornet was so frowned upon.  I know there's better guns in terms of DPS but I always do rather well with it when I'm gun hopping to try to decide a loadout.  Never taken it into gold, though, and I have zero interest in platinum boss spam.  I gather it does less well there?

tech armor staggers every unit in the game, through walls, and can be put back on without wasting cooldown, you might be surprised to find out many people think thats far more valuable than 5% damage reduction, especially when that 5% is scaled before difficulty and 100%  dr isnt even "complete" DR because bioware has the equation all messed up.
 i certainly take it on most of my tech armor classes.

Does a a TalonX with heavy barrel and AP mod count?

some phoenix vanguard using javelin x spec for power damage and taking sniper rifle thermal scope and sniper rifle high velocity barrel. i tried that alot of host it was quite a scene.

Maybe the same Human Vanguard mentioned before. Javelin 1 and Claymore V on gold. Poor guy died alot and never charged.

Because I have it at 8.
Can use it extremely effectively.
Can actually use a 3.84 second warp to high effect and a 5 second stasis aswell (I have a 6 second stasi + claymore combo on my Asari Vanguard.)

The Asari weapon spec is extremely effective. Cooldowns are over rated. You don't need even CLOSE to 200% hell 70% is ENOUGH for ANY adept weapon specced, especially with a high power Crusader.

That's why.

Hell I run my Human Sentinel with a Javelin.

Basically anything that doesn't work with each other.
