Well nah I'd rather we have more guardians that are faster, Shield runners!

What should happen is that Phantoms should get less damage reduction and/or have their immunity bubbles toned down, Guardians should be given armor, as much as Dragoons have now, and Dragoons should get a very small amount of armor with health underneath that way they can't be Stasis'd right off the bat, but they also won't be these Usain Bolt tanks anymore.
I agree with this completely.

I think that the intent of the Guardian is to force you out of cover into the anxiously waiting turret's line of fire. Just a cover buster. I would give a slight buff to thier speed if anything, but too much and complaints about the CE and thier turrets will mount fast.
If that's the point of Guardians, then what good are they compared to Dragoons and Phantoms? Heck, even Assault Troopers and Centurions do a better job since they lob grenades all over the place.

Why not just add the rampart mechs as part of a certain wave?...I like taking the shields away from guardians with the phoenix vanguard using lash and head-shotting them....you can have the best of both worlds...i don't think they need a buff either (guardians)... people are already complaining about phantoms and dragoons and how they need a nerf...the guardians are good as they are.

Just the way the AI works....CEs/Guardians work together.....Phantoms/Nemesis work together.....Not saying there aren't better cover busters, simply commenting on how these units combine.DJ Airsurfer wrote...

I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or being sarcastic, but either way, I am fine with dragoons now (although I was bit skeptical at first). But I'm not sure why anyone would want to add a unit ( ie; an armored unit that is rather agressive and does decent weapon damage) who's function is oddly similar to to a unit that is already in the game(dragoons). Especially since dragoons are already somewhat of a debate-able subject.
