I'm not sure why people change to the try hard classes everytime I appear in lobbies... Is it just me or this happens to some of you too??????

why so many people think themselves are famous
so every player in game change their setup to get high score is relate to top score u?
don't u think it sounds hilarious and arrogant
and if u really don't care about score or skill, while u feel annoying?
u can still get credit and XP

It did happen to me a few times. Not sure that's because they knew who I was though. I don't think that many people read BSN. Most likely, they see someone with a Harrier/Javelin X and they just wanna keep up.

It happenes occasionaly, when a bsn member enters my lobby. They usually get their competitive asses handed to them and then leave my lobby after the game is finished. It's quite silly.

Who are you?

A console scrub. ;)

Sometimes you have to look at things from other peoples perspective, but hey I guess some are too self centered to see that. you know the type, the type that would rather hijack somebodys thread with hate then to just ignore the thread if they don't like it or agree with it.

I'm self centered for pointing out someone else is being self centered.

Repeat that a couple more times in your head.

Sound ridiculous?

Because it is. Stop pretending that this was a topic made for the sole purpose of serious game discussion. His intention is pretty obvious, especially given his recent post history.

I figure a lot of them don't want to a last place scorer in a Video.

Easy fix, notoriety has to be maintained. Memories are short. Bet if you laid low for a week, if even that, virtually no one would recognize who you were. Otherwise, guess it's just something that you've got to deal with.

It's kind of annoying. I sometimes wanna play a chill gold game but people switch to the most effective killing machine with harrier. Game starts and I get followed and get my kills stolen by a try hard-_- almost as if to compete with me...
SIGH... :innocent:

its a BSN thing. Anytime i've played with someone from the forum for the 1st time they always seem to go with high powered setups and really give it there all. IDK why. usually they fall back into the chill classes after a bit though. I guess 1st impression?

yep this. People tryingnot to embarass themselves by dying too much.  It can happen.. Lol

I think instead people should take it as an excuse to slack off. Why use my level III's when this guy is in the lobby? I'm gonna work on my challenge points instead, so I'll be killing nothing but husks.

I generally start gold with a class I'm comfortable taking, haven't ever switched for anyone, also haven't played with any of the BSN "Celebrities" yet. Wouldn't mind that sometime, I learn more from better players. We extract Gold just fine, I generally just skip right past the score screen, if it's more of a shaky match I like to make sure I at least scored over a certain threshold, but that's about it, I like playing with certain people on my friends list because I know that they can clutch a wave if they need to, but I never bleed out just because they are there. or try to compete with them on score.

Yeah, that's actually another very sound strategy for playing PUGs. When I pug Gold, I will usually start with a strong class that can I can clutch soloing waves if I have to (e.g. SI/QMI). Then if the other players did good and we stay together, I'll switch to something less powerful/something I am not experienced with. I'll still do my best not to be a burden on the team, but I'll have a peace of mind that even if I get sync killed or do something amazingly stupid, it won't matter. ^_^

absoultey yes

by you've successfully managed to make the thread go off of his topic and focus on you by trolling it. You are being self cenetered bt taking it upon yourself to point out that somebody is being self centered. If you werne't you would have ignored the thread and let it die off.

Actually, no one here said that he cares much about score... but he does care a lot about getting attention (and I say this as a person who casually rowses BSN when they are work). Yet I see his topics which are beginning to become 50 shades of ridiculous everywhere.

P.S. If you read his first post, there IS actually an implication that he cares about score, since he is annoyed by "kill stealing" people with Harriers. Why would it bother him otherwise? He seems good enough a player to be able to kill around stuff even in the presence of Harrier X GIs...

OP, if you showed up in my lobby, I would feel totally comfortable using my lvl's to keep grinding for my N7. I have seen people from BSN come on and try-hard, but most are pretty chill by now.

BTW, upinya, if you showed up in my lobby, I would break out the booze. I'd be trying to outscore you in a different "game"...;)

For what it's worth, if I try harder than normal when there is a BSN personality around, it's just because I would like them to think I'm a good enough player to be worth playing with again.
