Geth off-host (with even a tiny bit of lag) on a kit that is not less vulnerable to staggering... the stuff of my nightmares.
Those who really enjoy playing against them have at least a tiny masochistic streak... just saying, nothing wrong with that.
I have said this many times

using high RoF weapons makes stripping prime of servants easy.
geth don't insta kill
nowdays it's easy to get scans, mines, scopes etc to easily see all hunters
The only thing that bothers is the bomber animation. It looks too dang firm --standing-- for a suspended object - i.e. after getting a falcon punch it does not rock at all.. comeon, it should fly to another dimension and return from this, but it actually is harder to stagger than a prime - WTF??
But I think I know the reason why they are so bugged. Multiplayer geth made a grave error by using windows, and so they do have some structural weaknesses.

I only have the capacity to tolerate them on host. Off-host they go from annoying to throw-my-laptop-out-the-window aggravating.

People who say the geth are easy probably only play them on the aforementioned classes, snipe them from a distance, or probably haven't played them at all. Rio campers fall into this category too.
That's all I'm saying.

Yea I'm going to have to agree with this, geth are still the easiest faction to abuse in terms of predictable / managable AI movement for bad players so I can see why more people would prefer them.MuhidinSaid wrote...
The geth are more manageable on characters with sabotage or overload/energy drain, or kroguards, the n7 paladin utterly rapes them, that being said, if the geth faction needs a prerequisite(class) to be playable, there's something clearly wrong with said faction.

And is quickly and easily dispatched if you have at least some situational awareness.squidney2k1 wrote...

The drone is effectively a 'glass cannon,' you just have to know where it is and ... well, aim good!
So the geth have one powerful attack. From a high-tech faction which is aided by the reapers. And is nowhere near as obnoxious as a sync-kill (which some factions are riddled with).squidney2k1 wrote...

This is simply not true if you've specced the geth trooper's flamer into range. I can shoot as far as they do. Hell, I've done hilarious jousting runs at them. It's a blast!squidney2k1 wrote...

No. Just no. I'm sorry, but no.
That's bad, bad lag and it happens with every faction. I find this way more annoying with the collectors than I do with geth.squidney2k1 wrote...
[*]Melee sync is ridiculous...meaning once a Hunter/Trooper starts their animation, you will take the damage, even if you are 15 away at the time.
To be honest, at the end of this list I'm almost inclined to agree with the 'geth need a buff' types.
(And oop, the formatting of this post broke horribly. Sorry! Fixed now.)

Nice personal attack there, bro. But I'm not claiming to be a badass. I never have. I actually suffer with a couple of debilitating disabilities and I know my limits.
I'm just saying that most of the factions are more annoying than the geth.
But hey, if you want to twist what I said to fit your agenda, then go right ahead.

Smiley faces don't make personal attacks valid.
I made the claim that the geth are less annoying/powerful than the other factions and might need to be brought in line with those other factions. How is that claiming to be badass? I don't get you.
Maybe I just use kits that make the geth seem less threatening, this has been mentioned in the thread, and I do stick to a particularly small set of kits. To me, the geth are way less of an issue than both cerberus and the collectors.
Edit: And maybe I specialise, due to how often I play against them, which might have something to do with my perception of them. Nothing about this has anything to do with my ability to play, I just know that I faceplant more when I'm fighting cerberus and the collectors.
I just really don't understand how saying that I don't find the geth to be this big, insurmountable thing is the same as claiming that I'm a badass.
i really want you to clear this up for me.

Player 2 (you) comes along and says "NO NO NO, Geth are the LEAST annoying faction, DEY R EASY MODE AND NEED A BUFF".
By implying that you find the Geth soooooooooooooooooooo easy and un-frustrating, you are attempting to portray yourself as better than the people who complain about them. No need to lie through your teeth and claim it's not true. We can see what's going on here.

It's like me quoting your post and saying "LOOK! SIRIAN TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO POOP IN MY MAILBOX AND BANG MY MOTHER."
it's the same thing sure, but to a completely different degree.

As someone with limited sight, that's the thing that gives me the most hell in ME3's multiplayer. I hate being teleported behind by a banshee that I just don't notice is there.
Oh, and for anyone who still thinks I'm a badass. I got jumped and stomped by three primes once, that was a lot of fun. I just didn't see them there due to poor sight. I've mentioned that in the forums before.
Yep, such a badass. Right Sirian?
Sigh.
Edit: The fact of the matter is is that--as a disabled person--I just don't find the geth nearly as much of a hard time as other factions. I actually find them fun to play, as someone with a disability. So they can't be all that bad, right?
You'll always get intellectually dishonest, contrarian jerks like Sirian who'll use people like me as a punching bag, just because I don't happen to agree with his views.
