I just had to reinstall DAO and after doing so I wanted to reinstall the DLC.
Going to the DLC section I noticed the following.

The Blood armor is missing from the list
To download The wardens Keep or The stone prisoner I need 1200 and 560 points respectively and my count it 0
From my point of view it seems I have to pay for the content again that I allready  bought.
I got the Blood Armor and Stone Prisoner free with the game, and The  Wardens Keep I paid for.

What I would like to know is how I can redownload and reinstall this content again, not only now but in the future as I have plans for upgrading my computer in the nrea future, at which point I will be getting a new OS and will need to reinstall the game as well.

I have been in contact with DAO customer support (EA) and so far they havent answered my question.
They have replied but it seems they dont understand what I'm saying and I have now asked the same question for the 3rd time and currently wating for a reply.
I'm getting frustrated and ticked off with EA now.

When checking my online profile I can see all 3 items registered to my account, but when ingame I cannot download it wihtout having to use poits for it which I dont have.

I can log on, and I can see the content available, but cannot download it wihtout needing more points.
Now I'm hoping someone here can help me. :)

Did you delete your My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age folder when you reinstalled?

A couple of things might be going on.

The reinstallation might have screwed up your Dragon Age Origins Content Updater Service. There are instructions in the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ for reinstalling that, section 3.  Without the service the game can't verify that you already own the DLC.

There's also a beta version of a new Updater Service available that you could try.  http://social.biowar...st/81613/542935

You might also need to clean out your previously downloaded DLC and force it to redownload. Delete the My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings/Manifest.xml file, and possibly the entire My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Addins folder.

Either I'm missing something here or something is not working the way it should.

That troubleshooting guide didnt make me much wiser, but trying to the best of my ability and trying the new beta one I'm still having problems

It still lists only Wardens keep and stone prisoner as available, but needing poins for them.

Blood armor is still missing.

The addin folder is empty.

I'm not sure what to do here now, and those troubleshooting guides have a bad habit of getting too technical for me to understand. This is no fault of the poster, jst me who cant wrap my head around it.

Okay, a few things to try.

Delete My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings/Manifest.xml if it exists.

Make sure the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater Service is running before you start the game.

1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START

If that fails you could try manually installing the DLC, but its is a bit of a technical process.

Allready tired that option, I didnt delete the file though, instead I just renamed it.

Just tried it again by simply deleting the file, no change.

I have manually downloaded the DLC though

And were you able to successfully run the daupdater.exe program to manually install them? And they still don't show up in the game?

I had only downloaded them, was not sure hw to install them.

I just installed them, Blood armor is ok, but wardens keep and Stone prisoner are listed as unauthorized

Unauthorized usually means that the Dragon Age Content Updater Service isn't running.

Make sure the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater Service is running before you start the game.

1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START (or RESTART if its already running, sometimes it needs a kickstart)

Unauthorized also means there are still some temp files in the Download Cache of DAO, go to configuration and clear it.

Service is running, even tried restarting it and still listed as unauthorized, and listed as available (for points) under available content.
I dunno what happend here, but somehow it just dont want to accept that the content is in fact authorized.
from what I understand of the info you have provided, for all intents and purposes, everything should be good to go.

You're logged into the game with the same account you redeemed the content with, right? I mean when you click "Online Profile" in the game it brings up the right profile and the content is registered to it?

Yes its the same account, all I did was uninstall and reinstall the game, I also tried clearing the cache as suggested, and the result is the same.

Everything worked fine before I reinstalled, the game even remembers the login email from my previous installation.

Checked the online profile via the ingame link and its all listed there.

I was having a similar problem, and i got it fixed by complete accident. I got the game via digital download, and just reinstalled, couldn't see my content. I went and re-registered Dragon Age on my EA account, the one I used to purchase the game, and it now works no problem. Odd, but give it a shot.
