Avengers: Artwork from the Legendary AndreasShepard . (Exception for Adjutant)

Avengers are a mixture of mid range, close range and long ranged enemies. There are a fair number of biotic users in this faction. Enemies can kill players very quickly even on Bronze.

A BSN member told me there was a lack of "trooper" class enemies in the faction. So I'm adding two...

Also don't forget to check out this thread.

It has concept art for:

The Reaperised Races (that are included as enemies amongst Avenger faction),
The gay Male Shepard/Kaidan romance (I'm not gay, but I do appreciate the beautiful depiction of their love and affection)
Mass Effect meets Dragon Age creations.
And more artwork worthy of praise
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Adjutant: (From Omega DLC)

Posted Image
Abilities: Singularity
Weapon: Arm cannon
Armour and barriers: Moderate
Other: Exactly the same as the Reaper Adjutant from Omega DLC.

Offensive Adjutants can fire a charged biotic projectile similar to a Singularity that, upon hitting something, floats in place for a certain amount of time. It damages and disorients targets within its field. At close range, Adjutants will charge and leap at targets, damaging and knocking them down, similar to Brutes.
Defensive Adjutants have above average armor and barriers, and are fast opponents that can rapidly evade an attacker's line of sight.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Winter Mist (Reaperised Krogan)

Posted Image

This is a basic trooper unit that deals heavy damage.

Hitpoints: It is tankier than most trooper classes. It has medium health and shields.
Weapon: Winter Mist has a special flame thrower that has been adapted to fire a series of freezing particles to chill their foes. This is similiar to the Paladin's "Snap Freeze" ability. Also in "Snap Freeze" style it only lasts a couple of seconds. N7 squadmates cannot be properly frozen by Winter Mist, but they will be chilled, slowing their movements by 20%. The damage output is high and in addition chilled squadmates will also take 20% extra damage.
Special Ability: This enemy spams "carnage".

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Slasher: (Reaperised Drell)

Posted Image

This is a squishy trooper that does fair amount of damage with it's blades.

Info: Slashers make up 40% of enemies on Bronze, 30% of enemies on Silver, 20% of enemies on Gold and 10% of enemies on Platinium. They are the basic pawn unit of The Avengers.
Health: This enemy has a lot of health and shielding..
Weapons: Has two blades that do do heavy damage.
Special Ability: From a distance the Slasher can launch explosive blades at the target, which are fired from a hidden cannon inside it's arms.
Speed: Runs very fast.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Sprinter: (Reaperised Vorcha)

There was a great pice of artwork for this one. Sadly my computer couldn't load it.

The vorcha sprinter is the fastest enemy type around. It has very little health and shields, but very rapid health and shield regeneration to compensate. In addition the vorcha is easily the most powerful killing machine on the battle field.

This enemy type has 4 different attacks all of which are very devastating.

Side Arm: Bloodpack SMG. This weapon is fired continuously rather than burst fire. If you stay out of cover for more than 5 seconds with this enemy shooting at you, consider yourself dead.

Grenades: The Vorcha spams grenades if you're out of range for its SMG. They're a great way to flush players out of cover, and unlike other characters that spam grenades, you have less time to rush out of the blast radius.

Vorcha Claws: This melee attack is enough to kill most players (especially those who didn't put any points into fitness). Krogans and baterians fare better.

Grab Kills: Trying to grab kill a vorcha sprinter is risky. They are also capable of the grab kill. This also counts as a sync kill. So once you've been grab killed, no team mate revival or medigel can help you.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Wraith: (Reaperised Hanar/Drell)

Posted Image

Quite a bit more health and shields than the Vorcha Sprinter, but it's powers do less damage. The wraith is still quite fast and has all the agility moves that one would expect from a drell. This concept is based on the Electro husks from Mass Effect 1.

Guns: Does not wield guns.
Reave: At long and mid range the Wraith spams reave. Reave will do minor damage to the player, but will boost the hardening of the Wraith.
Shock: At short range, the Wraith will shock nearby N7's. This ability will stun target but will do moderate damage.
Roundhouse kick: A powerful kick that will do a lot of damage. This always follows the shock ability.
Ravage: The tentacles will grab the victim and squeeze them until they die.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Shadow: (Reaperised Salarian)
The Shadow is one of two enemies amongst The Avengers faction capable of cloak. The shadow is a deadly assassin that wields a sniper rifle and can do decent damage to shields with energy drain.

Posted Image

Weapon: Black Widow sniper rifle. (Headshots are guaranteed kills). This enemy is only capable of getting a headshot if the target is completly still. Even the slightest movement, and the Shadow will not get the headshot. A hit anywhere else will do moderate damage.
Powers: Can put out multiple decoys (which are holographic projections of itself), it can use energy drain (which will steal a proportion of the victim's shields/barriers to restore some of it's own).
Melee: Their melee is a disruptor omniblade. Does some moderate damage.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Vendetta: (Reaperised Volus)

Posted Image

Do not underestimate this foe. This is a nightmerish foe to deal with.

Offensive Powers: It has proximity mines, recon mines as it's main destructive powers. Both are devastating.
Defensive Powers: It spams shield boost to restore the shields of allies (even giving shields to enemy types that don't normally have any). Vendetta also has tactical cloak which it uses often.

Weapon of choice:
They use a laser pistol that fires red beams and has a very fast rate of fire to compensate for low damage per shot.

Last ressort: When Vendetta's health is depleted, it self destructs.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Deceptor: (Reaperised Quarian)
Posted Image

Hit points: This has a fair amount of health, but a lot of shields.
Powers: The master of distraction, with two drones defending it, a sentry turret and a combat drone. Four summonable minions in total.
Weapons: This enemy is equipped with an arc pistol for longer ranges and a Reegar Carbine for anyone foolish enough to get close.
Melee: Electricity will discharge from the Quarian dealing lots of damage.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Devastator: (Reaperised Elcor)

Posted Image

Their slow firing anti-tank gun is a guranteed kill. Luckily it is easily avoided. An area will turn red when it is about to be targeted, (just like in Overlord DLC).  It has three attacks. This enemy type is The scion of the Avengers and has the armour to match it.

Attack 1: The powerful anti-tank munition blasts an area of roughly 5 metres squared. Anything within the area dies (even friendlies). This munition fires every 10 seconds. Before each blast there is a 5 second warning as the area where the explosion will take place turns red.

Attack 2: This attack has no warning. It does decent damage and covers the same 5 metres squared. This munition isn't about damage. It's about crowd control. It will cause the target to stagger and if shields are down, the target will fall over, becomming vulnerable to attacks from other enemies.

Attack 3: Elcor melee. Their left arm (or right depending on where you are in relation to the Elcor) will grab the victim and bash them till they die.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Avenger: (Reaperised Yahg)

This is the most devastating enemy in this faction.

Posted Image

Hit points: About the same as an Atlas Mech
Speed: Slightly faster than a brute.
Left Cannon: This fires blue coloured balls of energy that cover a large radius.
Right Cannon: This fires a blue flame at enemies that get close.
Other attack: Jumps in the air and lands leaving a shockwave in it's wake.
Melee: Coats itself in a fluressent blue substance and runs into the player (like the Krogan Charge from Mass Effect 1).

Mech Faction: .

Mechs are a bit different from other factions. For starters, on higher difficulties such as Gold and Platinium, they don't use the same old "Boss Spam" tactics as other factions. Their YMIR Mech is so powerful, that it is as davastating as having 3 Atlas Mechs gunning you down at the same time. For this reason, YMIR Mechs only appear one at a time.

On higher difficulties the focus is on Loki Mechs and Aresnal Mechs. Their focus is on trooper classed enemies. With this faction, Troopers are not mindless cannon fodder, but instead are transformed into powerhouses of distruction.

Other Mech Enemy types are basically combat drones. There to distract players from the real threats: The YMIR, Loki and Arsenal Mechs.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

Loki: Slow moving fighter with a lot of fire power. This has the weakest melee attack.

https://encrypted-tb...GNxnvrnuPibzolZ

Hitpoints: The Loki Mech has no shields and a small amount of health. This is basic trooper cannon fodder.

Guns: Suiken in the hands of most people is a decent SMG but is trumped by the other SMG's out there. But in the hands of a Loki Mech, this weapon can take down shields quickly and rip though health with great ease.

(Unlike the Loki Mech in Mass Effect 2) When the Loki Mech wants a long ranged weapon, it switches to a Phalanx pistol and can be an effective damage dealer from afar.

Melee: A blast of energy does some minor damage and staggers players.

Other: They do explode when destroyed.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Arsenal: Looks similiar to the Loki Mech except it is black instead of white. It has blue lights instead of red ones aswell.
The Arsenal has the same amount of health as the Loki, but has and additional layer of shields. It also has three weapons instead of two. Despite a more diverse arsenal (hence the name) it lacks the precision of the loki at close ranges.

https://encrypted-tb...GNxnvrnuPibzolZ

Sniper Rifle: The classic widow. The Arsenal Mech is only accurate when wielding this rifle. The Arsenal is actually a sniping specialist.

Assault Rifle: When players get within 10 metres of the Arsenal, it swiches to the Revenant Assault Rifle. This weapon has terrible accuracy and recoil. But despite lack of precision, the 40% of shots that hit the target make the Arsenal a mean killing machine.

Shotgun: Once your in melee range, the Arsenal swiches to the claymore shotgun. The Arsenal Mech software doesn't actually cover shotguns. The weapon doesn't do as much damage as one would think, but it will make the victim stagger which is a good setup for the melee attack that follows.

Melee: Electric Baton when the victim is staggered by a shotgun blast, the electric baton normally finishes the victim off. This doesn't work aswell if the target has a lot of hit points (Krogan or Baterian) or if the target has an armour power such as Tech Armour, barrier, fortification or blade armour.

Grenades: When a target is within 10 metres, the Arsenal mech throws arc grenades.

Other: They explode when killed.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Orcus Mech

Posted Image

These enemies are an improvement on the Orcus Mechs from the Infiltrator game.

Hit Points: They have moderate shields and health. Similiar to that of a Geth Pyro.

Weapons: Their main strength is their fire power. All equipped with Mattocks. They have great precision and great fire power. Elite Orcus Mechs even have a Harrier equipped instead of the Mattock (but that is the only difference).

Special Ability: They can setup shield pylons. This is ther role of the new Orcus Mech. To restore shields.

Melee: They have electric batons.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rampart Mech:

Posted Image

This mech is a specialist at close range combat. They will close in on targets quickly and either shotgun blast them to death or use their omnitool slice and dice their foes whilst simultaneously setting them on fire. In Omega DLC they occassionally took cover. In multiplayer they never take cover.

Hit Points: All Mechs have a lot of hit points. This one is no different. Lots of shields and a lot of armour.
Weapon: Has a Katana Shotgun which does decent damage.
Melee: Uses an incendiary omniblade and slashes very quickly.
Sync Kill: This enemy type has a sync kill annimation, where it grabs the target, stabs them with the incendiary omniblade and sets them on fire.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Infiltrator Mech:

Posted Image

Looks a lot like the Rampart, but is half the height and is a dark brown colour. Also has green lights.

Abilities: Can turn invisible and also has access to incinerate (a heat seeking missile that can arc over and around cover and set targets on fire). The infiltrator can also run very fast.

Special Ability: Like the geth hopper from Mass Effect 1, the Infiltrator Mech can jump from wall to wall and even on the ceiling. Crawling on ceilings and walls like a spider but still being able to use it's arc projector. This is a very nible Mech indeed.

Weapon: Arc Projector. This is an assault rifle adapted from the heavy weapon of the same name. The weapon charges up before discharges a lot of electricity over a wide area.

This weapon can be effective at any range and turns the Mech Infiltrator into a combination of the Nemesis and a Geth Hunter. The Arc Projector does heavy damage to shields/barriers but very little damage to health. However it has a 1/3 chance of severely shocking the target.

Melee: Uses an electric baton.

Hit Points: Some armour and shields. This is still a lot of armour and shields, but not quite as much.

Abilities:
A mech dog that pounces on it's targets and gives out an energy pulse.
It does little damage.

In addtion it can fire little bolts of energy from a distance.
________________________________________________________________________________________________

Ogre Mechs

Posted Image

They're not as powerful as the YMIR Mech. But they are still a deadly force on the battle field.
They appear infrequently, since Mechs focus on their troopers.
They have 3 weapons.

Hit Points: They have the health and shields of an Atlas Mech.
Pulse Rifle: Fires several grenish bursts at a time.
Laser Cannon: A yellow beam fires then causes an explosion.
Storm Launcher: Fires a red launcher.

The YMIR Mech was a devastating enemy in Mass Effect 2.
It has now been upgraded for additional damage, armour and shields.

Hit Points: Twice the armour and three times the shilds of an Atlas Mech
Weapon 1: Machine gun. This is a very fast firing weapon that can kill it's target in less than 3 seconds.
Weapon 2: Missile Launcher: It can fire a missile that can arc around cover (sometimes). This also does heavy damage.

Melee: The YMIR Mech punches the target. This is a sync kill annimation. So medigel and squadmate revives won't help here.

Special Resistance: The missile launchers available in multiplayer won't kill this foe in one hit. The first hit will take down the shields. The second hit will destroy it.

Special notes: Because the YMIR Mech is so overpowerd it only appears one per wave.

Bronze Appearances: Waves 10 and 11 only
Silver Apperances: Once at Wave 9, once at Wave 10 and once at Wave 11
Gold Appearances: Once at Wave 8, once at Wave 9, once at Wave 10 and once at Wave 11.
Platinium Appearances: Once at each wave. That's Waves 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Where are the Harvesters?
Where?

I want Harvesters to be hazards on Hazard maps rather than part of any faction.
They can be killed to score lots of points.

My favourite creation is Arsenal Mech.

This is the only character that I trully came up with myself.

All of the Avengers are bassed on concepts from AndreasShepard (except the Adjutant)
All of the Mechs are from Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect Infiltrator.

But the Arsenal Mech was my idea. It is a Mech that wields a shotgun, assault rifle and sniper rifle. Also has a stock of grenades.

I also wanted an Infiltrator that acted like the Geth Hoppers from ME 1 with tactical cloak and the arc projector as their weapon.

Oohhh, I'd love to see that Mech faction in the game! Not sure if your Reaper one is particularly feasible however.

Mechs are cool too but probably its not possible to add them because storyline of Mass Effect 3.Some of those cerberus mechs can be add on cerberus faction though.

From what I gather, Reaper Indoctrination can work on machines as well as organics.

The Mechs are used to control mass populations to speed up the process of converting civilians into husks.

I'm open to feedback.
What can I do to make them more feasable?

Any suggested alterations?

Do you mean machines or synthetics ? I didn't see any Indoctrinationated Cerberus mechs on Reapers side.

I don't know for certain.

But I was under the impression that synthetics too can be indoctrinated by the Reapers.

If they can't be "Indoctrinated" they can at least be controlled.
Mechs to the best of my knowledge don't have minds of their own (unlike the Geth)
So I can imagine that the Reapers would just hack them.

Yeah but so Quarians can do.All I wanted to say mechs are better to add another faction. It could be Merc. faction. They're not in Mass effect 3 as enemies but Collectors are neither. And mechs in Mass Effect 2 was fighting on mercs side. It's just my opinion.

Mercenaries. That could be interesting.
I'd rather merge them all into one faction rather than 3 separate factions.
I'll need to take some time to think about this one.

The Avengers and Mechs is a faction I've been thinking about for a very long time.
As for the Mercenaries, I need to give it more thought.

I want it to be a faction that takes the 8-10 best enemeis from the Mercenaries (minus the Mechs because I've already done a Mech faction).

I like the Engineers and Vanguard from eclipse.
I like the Vorcha Pyros and Krogan Beserkers from bloodpack.
I like the blue Suns rocket trooper.

But with mercenaries I'll have to make most of the enemies up, since the Geth faction is basically the best of the mercenaries. It has the rocket troopers, it has a hunter that is the Vanguard with tactical cloak and no warp spam. Geth have pyros too. So I need to make up all of the mercenary enemies or otherwise we get another faction that behaves like hte Geth.

I like the idea of having Indoctrinated Mercenaries in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, but I don't want them to be similiar to the Geth.

Mass Effect 3 changed the Collectors.

So I'm inclined to change the Mercenaries to create a unique faction.
Coming up with a faction that is different to Reapers, Geth, Cerberus and Collectors (not to mention different from the Avengers and Mechs that I added) will take time.

Expect the Mercenaries faction on a separte thread soon.

Oh and feel free to submit your ideas for the Mercenary faction...

Oh, i'm not saying there is anything wrong with your ideas for the Reaper faction - they're great as well. However, none of those enemies have existed in this game or even previous games for that matter. BioWare would have to create those new enemies from scratch, which will take a lot of time and money.

The mechs on the other hand have already existed in previous titles, so they're generally a lot more do-able.

They all seem either too tanky or able to dish out too much damage. They seem to lack basic troops like cannibals, marauders or husks/assult troopers, centurions or guardians/troopers, rocket troopers or hunters/troopers, captains or abominations.

So you want troopers?

Check opening post and search for Winter Mist (Reaperised Krogan) and Slasher (Reaperised Drell).
I added these two new enemy types in response to your post.
I hope these are what you had in mind.
