I would like a mod that deactivates the sound made by Bards when they activate Song of Valor/Song of Courage/etc.
Here is an approximation of that sound:
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That is not a song. That's not even...sane. It's bad when Leliana does it. It's a primary cause of heart attacks when Zevran does it.
I've been hitting mute at the start of every battle with a Bard in my party. In the Deep Roads there are Forgotten Spirits that all start singing when they notice you, so that's like being trapped in the world's stinkiest opera house with a bunch of heavy metal wannabes that attached a speaker tower directly to their vocal cords. Hespith is not crazy because darkspawn tortured her and killed her entire house. She's crazy because she had to wade through the ghost Bards to get to the Trenches. She is also a better singer than actual Bards, even if her tunes are rather emo.
Anyone who undertakes this quest shall be rewarded with...praise. And silence. Glorious silence.
