Tell me, is it sexist to say, ""women iniate divorce at a 70% rate" when the statement can be backed up by factual data? anymore so to say that Frosted Flakes contain lots of sugar? If women are doing that then it is simply true, with the attribution of me being a sexist merely a deflection of the facts.

It always amazes me that women make up approximately 50% of the population, and yet people are still surprised that some of them play video games.

The female community may be small, but it's larger in proportion to most other games like Halo or Call of Duty. I think it has something to do with the romance and possible use of a female protagonist.

I would agree about the "possible use of a female protagonist" as a draw. And while I do have fun exploring the romance options, I did not make my gaming purchase because the game contained romances.

Really, it came down to me liking RPGs with shooting elements, and me liking science fiction. I grew up watching Star Trek with my Dad, so I jumped at the chance to actually play a starship captain that saves the universe and hangs out with aliens. Heck yeah. That's cool, fun stuff right there.

With my bsn ID, majoirity of people think I'm a guy.
But it wasn't always Johnnie Walker. When I first joined, my friends thought I was a guy... until I posted a photo of me in an album a few weeks later. 
It's the way I post and my general personality.
My personality as been compared, multipule times, to Jack from ME and Tex from RvB. A lot in both real life and via the net.

It's not like female character threads were any less weird. We're all crazy about the fictional characters we love. And hell, in a thread specifically created for them, let them fangirl/fanboy away! So, yay for equality!

Haha I didn't mean the female-character threads were less weird (in fact, the Miranda thread was downright creepy<_<), just that those threads were populated overwhelmingly by women, so there wasn't any question of girls not playing ME and being a significant part of the population.
