It's simply biology.
Men are stronger, tougher, smarter and make better leaders, but we are more disposable.

1 women and 20 men = Extinction.
1 Man and 20 women = Viable chance for countinuing the species.

But for some reason women want to screw with this and become thigs they shouldn't, like leaders, soldiers etc.

Hardly, women may lack physical strength but women tend to be every bit as intelligent as men do.

When continuation of the species is a non-issue, there is no real reason why men should be considered superior to women or receive preferential treatment.

I am able to squat heavier than most men, let alone women can. Does that make me superior to say, a female neuroscientist, who writes books and has received acclaim in peer reviewed journals? Do I get to order her around and decide what she should and shouldn't be able to do or be?

Your post makes no sense, and is a blatant display of sexism.

Who gave you the right to decide what ANYONE, regardless of gender is capable of?

I think you missed his point. Men never did receive preferential treatment. They were ground to dust by their fellow male competitors and thrown to the wolves. Women have, historically and prehistorically received preferential treatment because they are the limiting factor in reproduction.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, sincerely, but how did any woman who responded with "I'm a woman too!" expect special treatment

If I make a thread asking who else is an American player (what if I just wanted better connections for hosting etc) would I then just be an Ugly American?

Geez louise. I only merely replied with my initial statement becuase I could see how this was devolving into a cesspit of mudslinging.

Bingo, this is a fact.

Testosterone levels are also intrinsically linked to male feelings of wellbeing, so around age 25 when levels of lutenizing hormone begin to diminish, this has a negative impact on testosterone production via the hypothalima-testicular-pituary axis, leading to a "slump" in testosterone levels and this has a defined impact on the man's sense of wellbeing.

One of the body builders that i train with who went through hell at one point, his life improved greatly when he started back on cycle; most of his depression was linked to low testosterone levels and was alleviated completely by regular sustanon shots, mixed with other stuff too for body building (which served as both anti-depressants and anabolic agents.)

I had problems like this since age 21. I would feel depressed if I had not exercised strenuously in the previous few days.

I think it might be related more to dopamine/endorphine/serotonin production instead of the sex hormones. I've done dietary adjustment/depletion tests on myself that seem to confirm my hypotheses.

IIRC female athletes suffer from similar problems when they break from their regular training regime.

I can relate. I haven't been doing any kind of sport activity since august because I am doing a thesis and I'm working very hard on it. God knows how terrible I feel. Some people just need to move, they cannot stay put too long.

Wow. I was going to post about how this really shouldn't turn into another sexism thread, but I'm way too late.

Anyways, both genders are equally necessary to the continuation of the human race. Both genders have extremes: geniuses, idiots, etc. Neither side is better, and both are equally important.
So, men: you are not better than women. That's a fact. Stop putting them down.
Women: as humans, you deserve equality, yes. You do not, however, deserve any kind of special treatment just because you're of another gender. It's not right and doesn't help your argument. Stop demanding it, and start acting equal.

I don't think (s)he was referring to anyone in particular, be it someone who posted in this thread or not. Just in general.

^ This is why we need to start at the root of the problem, Stardusk.

Improve K-12 education first. Especially mathematics and sciences.

We need more of you in the world, of those of your mind at least.

Well, if there were more Caltech scientists maybe they could have accepted my application

Mmmmmm..... they look like fun.

I'll even forgive the one in the middle for wearing those hideous Capri pants... I hate those.

Honestly, there are lots of things I would forgive them :D

I have great respect for you as a physicist.
