I am more interested as to why you are speechless. I still don't understand. Of course women experience 'romantic love' and do not the idenftify it on the basis of male utility but women select mates that can provide them with a benefit, usually a concrete one.
Have you ever met a young couple in which the woman has a steady job, and the man is unemployed or in a non-steady job? Because it's happening, a lot. I know this must hurt your perception of "MEN MUST HUNT FOR WOMEN BECAUSE ALL WOMEN WANT IS A PROVIDER" perception of us humans, but
It
Is
Happening
Because society is changing. And if only one partner can provide, and that happens to be the woman, then what? Is she going to leave him just because he can't provide for her? The answer is f*cking no, because biology does not dictate what we are, because we're living on the motherf*cking 21st century, and the f*cking "all women care about is shoping" cliche is utter bull****.
And women are dissatisfied with the arrangement.
"Research set to be published in the Journal of Family Issues[/i] next month concluded that women who make more money are more likely to divorce. The 25-year study showed that women who earn a bigger salary than their husbands are 40% more likely to divorce, compared to women in the opposite situation."
Women who earn more are more likely to divorce
So are we going to revert back to letting the men work and taking care of the children and cleaning the house? Just because of some statistics?
You should be
happy that more families are adopting that pattern. It shows that men can devote their lives to raise their children, that they have feelings and fatherly instincts too. You should
celebrate it, because right now a lot of people stigmatize men that are economically dependant of women, and that sh*t has to stop.
But hey, no. We hate working! We're lazy! We want to be passive and let others take care of us, taking away our voice in the process!
