Basic stuff: Let the infilitrator do the 1234s unless they show they won't

To be honest, I just LOL when a Drell or Asari Adept start racing me to the objective. Okay then. You and your low HP enjoy taking on the objective alone, I'll just go have fun elsewhere.
If you're really having fun, i.e. kill a lot of things, it's almost guaranteed that the Drell - if he has more than three braincells - will be done with the objective before you would've even reached it. (Be aware: contains hyperbole and stuff.)
It's also a little childish to have fun "elsewhere" instead of backing up your teammate just because he took away your virtual lollipop.

Huh? I don't go killing and trying to do objectives at the same time. I only run off killing if the Drell decides that he can do a standstill objective better than an infiltrator. Don't care about childish. If he wants to be an idiot, I'll leave him to it.

Fact: 99.9999% of Infiltrators spec TC for damage. Therefore you'd be absolutely no better at getting objectives than anyone else.

Not its not childish depending on the situation. For example, in the reactor/collectors/gold game where the guy coming in on wave 9 tried to to the first disarm on 10, it was utterly stupid in light of the circumstances.
First, the disarm spawned in 30m+ both of us were within 15m of each other and there was only 2 of us. Guess where that puts the spawn at the start of the wave?
Second, there was no way 1 person was going to be able to hold back 2 praetorians + 2 scions especially since i had to be out of cloak (aka no damage bonus) in attempting to draw aggro. Sure i could protect him from the 4 miscellaneous sundries (think aboms and some troopers/captains), but thats about it. He'll be beamed to death if not first knocked down by cluster grenades or triple blasts.
It might be the guy could not think clearly (n1000+) in the heat of the moment but that was really lousy tactics. In this case, i hope the guy bleeds out quick or comes to his senses (but he didn't, used up over 2 minutes and combined with disarms spawning within 15m of each other, there was no way to do this in time). If we reversed roles, that objective would have been aced with little problem even if there was only 2 people
He is not an uncommon case. Many times, i see the least dps non-volus guy will try to do it regardless, possibly to feel useful but that is only screwing up the entire operation if its a wave 10 disarm. Wave 3 and 6, sure the rest can cover him. Wave 10, unlikely unless everyone missiles. Once all the spawn has time to converge due to the guy dropping, someone reviving him (lost dps) + another guy taking over (lost dps), unless the team is not the average pug team, its chain revive time.

I don't even see how the Drell is better off with me backing him up than an Infiltrator would be alone, in that situation. Two people around the objectives means more enemies around the objectives. An infiltrator can do the devices alone a large majority of the time, an even larger majority if they're specced for duration.
And, yes, I'm part of the .0001%.

Honestly, I don't care. Let the nearest person cap the objective. Its faster, and usually not an issue if other people are killing enemies and drawing aggro.

As long as 2+ players don't all try to hack the same node (CAN'T THEY SEE IT DOESN'T GO FASTER) I don't really care who gets the objectives. Though this is probably the objective where people do the goofiest, most nonsensical things so maybe I'm just trying to get through it.
It's even worse when both players go "Oh the other guy has it, i'll just go cover him" then they both cancel it.
Then upon seeing it, they both begin to hack it again at the same time.

That is always fun <_<
I will always try to do the hacks. I find that in PUGs, if I don't make the attempt, chances are, no-body else will either half of the time.
I don't care if I'm playing a "squishy" character. If I'm in a better position to do the hack, I will do it. If I see an infiltrator who always heads for the hacks, I may just wait and let him do it, but not if the area is clear of enemies, or if I would probably have it done before he gets there.
I am also in that .001%, so my infiltrators ALWAYS go for the hacks when possible. If not, I will either draw enemies away, or cover the hacker, depending on where the enemies are.
