I don't see it all that often on Xbox, but from the videos I've seen of PC gamplay... it looks like an epidemic.

I like it but you don't know how many build I run without the Claymore and get told, doing it wrong.

Recently I was told I should use a Claymore on my BW Drell Infiltrator sniper...;)

You can put it on any class and do well, but then you're playing the class less and less and just using the Claymore (bc of what it does to cooldowns).

I like the weapon, but I also like about 20+ other weapons too. Lack of variety leads to stagnation... for me anyway. I don't want to get bored with this game...

There are very few situations that cannot be solved via Claymore to the face.

I don't actually see it all that often, though.

Y'know the theory, the equation?

e = MC squared?

the C stands for claymore...

The Claymore isn't the ONLY answer to every problem.

Just the best one.

I'll do you one better:

Wraith, Harrier, Hurricane, GPS, Kishock.... and (you'll love this) Crusader and Reegar are all > than the Claymore... for various reasons including range, weight, time to kill, ease of use, class synergy, etc.

Claymore kind've IS the answer to every problem. There isn't a situation that I know of in which the Claymore can't deal with it.

That being said, it is not my favorite weapon.

Yeah, unfortunately I agree. Unfortunately because I'm actually not a big fan of shotguns in general, but the Claymore is such an effective solution to literally everything that I've started carrying it on pretty much all my kits, Drelldept, Brodept, Human Soldier, THS, you name it. I just mentioned the only exception to this in another thread: Marksman. Claymore doesn't take full advantage of RoF increase and reduces the cooldown further than I like.

Really, the only drawback for the Claymore is if you're fighting Geth and they're stun-canceling all your reload attempts. That's the only time I've wished I was using something else, and even then it wrecks face against the Geth because it laughs at all their shields.

Well, I kinda disagree. Yesterday I was making a clay pot, and I run out of clay. What was the answer? Yeah, exactly.

"Don't be so quick to judge, Stardusk. Claymore to the face can be applied in a variety of tough situations. For instance, watch how quickly it cures insubordination!"

I've just never enjoyed using it, I don't use it on any characters, but it does seem that I need to get it some practice, I need to find this Claymore happy so that I may reach the pinnacle.
