No, but given that I'm constantly low on shotgun rail amps, I really enjoy the few matches with the Claymore I have.

It is.

You can put the Wraith on every class with a cooldown and it just got better. It's kinda like how the old Piranha was... but I don't mind since it's an UR. I believe URs should be slightly OP....

its a good thing the wraith requires one thing the pirahna never will.... precision.

I'd take a lobby full of Claymore users over a lobby full of Reegar/Harrier/PPR users any day.

That being said, I have Wraith on 70% of my classes.

That's the thing. The Harrier is terrible BECAUSE once you use it, you're compelled to use it on everyone. Damn that thing to hell.

It's been my favorite gun since a month after the demo came out and I don't want anything to interfere with that.

I'm slightly inclined to agree with Stardusk.
The Claymore IS a great gun. Really, it is.
The main issue I have with the Claymore is ammo management: When my teammates are also using weapons that have a low capacity, that can really hinder our progress and cause an spike in difficulty.

Well, lets look at this accordingly.

What's overpowered? Claymore.
What's underpowered? Claymore.
What's balanced? Claymore.

Wraith, Acolyte, Reegar, Harrier, Talon, and Hurricane are the solutions to most of my other problems. sad to say, I don't think my character use much else cept for a few other unorthodox ones (e.g. Tsol with an Argus)

Reload canceling on consoles is easy, just hit a power button while it's in cooldown to do it. Really easy on an infiltrator because you can just hit TC's button to do it. This plus claymore solves all problems.

So what classes can use a wraith or claymore effectively? Sorry..i don't use shotguns, because of their poor range and i'm not up and close with enemies like that for fear of getting waxed. I'm going to assume tho that krogans are the best class for these weapons?....maybe the kroguard?


every now and then i'll look over my collection of shotguns and i really want to try some of them out, but don't really know what class or character to try them on...

All we have need is someone to come in here and say "The Claymore sucks compared to the Reegar" and provide a decent supporting argument.
