As much as I do not like the Claymore (you all know my "difficulty to handle the weapon should be directly proportional to damage output, I find most guns very boring), it is balanced. One shot, extreme damage, the Widow among the shotguns. I do not think it needs to be balanced, yet I can understand if people call it very strong, if not overpowered.

So what classes can use a wraith or claymore effectively? Sorry..i don't use shotguns, because of their poor range and i'm not up and close with enemies like that for fear of getting waxed. I'm going to assume tho that krogans are the best class for these weapons?....maybe the kroguard?

with a smart choke and hipfire, the wraith is anything but short range.

It's not op, because it has not so awesome range. It's a well balanced gun. With claymore you have to aim for the head to get headshots, with Reegar you don't aim and get headshots anyway. I always top scoreboards with the Reegar. I think it should be uncommon though, because it was a pain getting it to level 10. It wouldn't be much op for a silver gun, because it's high risk high reward and requires lots of skill. I use it on a GI or the Destroyer.

Good enough?

Whereas the Harrier is named "Błotniak Cerberusa" in my language.

I don't like Claymore. Doesn't have the right "feel" to it. I quite like the AT-Raider thou, 2 shots is awesome, one shot is just lacking. And weight is a big problem on Claymore.

The Mass Effect 3 Claymore is grossly underpowered, as a matter of fact.
The proof is visible for everyone to see:


Non-Krogans can shoot the Claymore without breaking limbs. This is a fine example of a nerf that hurts the real Claymore users out there.

Claymore (X): 1,648.00

As mentioned earlier the claymore isn't that popular on 360. The other day i watched a Destroyer laying waste with one so I copied his loadout and joined a gold reaper lobby.
And wow Brutes and Ravagers just seemed to evaporate.

Claymore with medi-gel RC is OP... use consolers have to use powers or the 'everything' button to RC, which is not as easy b/c both of those options can cause other things to happen (everything button forces you to take cover/dodge).
