If ign, the site this forum claims is the poster boy of paid review, gives goty to someone else other then ME3 after having a co-work in the game, it 's clear there is no conspiracy.

I dont even argue with kids with that kind of argument anymore. Is so clear that those reviews are "arranged" that its not even worth discussing.

To be fair, ME3 for the most part *is* a good game.

The Ending though, it'll be years before Bioware will live it down.

I would attempt to set up a flame shield for the OP but given the vocal majority I think it would just push him back into the hero sacrifice machine Shepard had to die in.

look it up, they were allowing early reviews in exchange for over 90 guaranteed reviews, and my original post was about the VGA's silence...nice try tho

Mass Effect 3 sucked. Except for the parts that didn't.

I am one of the most vehement ending hater and I actually love to point out flaws in ME3 that is not related to the endings but... I am not suprised it won Best RPG of the year at many place and even agree with it.

Honestly there hasn't been many stand out RPGs this year. Most of those people remember were last year. Maybe on the PC, or if you count the XBox Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition release as contendendors you have some competition, but overall this was a pretty dry year for RPGs in my book.

Now there were plenty of strategy games and shooters that came out this year (I'm actually impressed at the strategy games this year) which I did enjoy more than ME3. So my GOTY will be one of those, but for best RPG of the year... it would be ME3.

Since its Christmas I give something for everyone. ME3 lovers, it honestly deserves the award. For ME3 haters, take that award as a sign of the RPG market in 2012 could have been much better. We really did need more releases, I always like tight competition.
