EA's dealings are both obvious and hard to deny unless you shut down all rational and sensory abilities to reject the facts. Both EA and BioWare have been caught rigging reviews repeatedly and practically have the "professional" critics in their pockets and the people's choice awards are anything but.....there's a reason why you can't see how many voted for what game....
I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they had people on payroll here on these forums to behave as blind fanboys to divide the community to stop organized movements from forming again like before.
Beyond that....most fans of the game left after the CE sucked leaving these forums to the 2% who refuse to deal with reality and chose to pretend it's something else....the bunch that actually tried to defend the mess that was the original ending.

It's reliventbecauseif there was aconspericy to make ME3 look better then it is, it would cover even theaward it will get. If ign, the site this forum claims is the poster boy of paid review, gives goty to someone else other then ME3 after having a co-work in the game, it 's clear there is no conspiracy.
Ok, this ought to be fun. Conspiracy? Well, maybe but not in the way people think. Companies such as IGN don't make much money by posting constant negative reviews about products they have a financial stake in-IGN has links to Game Stop in their reviews and so they earn money by selling games. Bad reviews=fewer sales=less money for review site. So, conspiracy, not so much. Intent to garner sales and remain viable? Definitely. This happens a lot and is why Consumer Reports does not use advertisers. They recognize that even if they would not consciously skew any review towards a product's favor, they might do so without thinking or just might appear to do so. They'd lose their appearance even of objectivity.
However, a funny thing did happen with IGN. Prior to their announcement that Leviathan would be released and would change the endings, IGN was squarely in ME's corner. Bioware could do no wrong with ME3 and upcoming DLC. Love and flowers for all. Then, IGN had to semi-retract that article (they left it up on the website but created a new article to say Leviathan would not change the endings), which still has never been explained. Why would IGN just imagine that Leviathan would change the endings? And why would they write that if they did not know it to be true? Either answer is a problem. Either IGN just wrote something without knowing the truth (highly likely) or they were given misleading information (also, highly likely and plausible given what was said about Leviathan by Bioware, even hints that it would change things even if just perception).
Since then, IGN has not written a glowing review about ME3 DLC. Pointless, MEH, repetitive, and even boring were some of the things they said about the DLC. And how is this possible if they are financially invested in games selling well? They make little or actually no money off the DLC. They want to make sure the core game sells well, but have no vested interest in the DLC, so they are "freer" to be more objective.
The other big problem today is the convergence of the media and other companies-often a review site or some media organization is owned by a much bigger corporation that also owns the companies that make the products that they review.
I'm not slamming them for all of this because this is human nature and it's the reality of today. Reviewers sell the products they review. It is the system that's been set up and not the people necessarily that have jobs in that system. But, if we change and lack interest in these not so impartial review sites, things might change. Click throughs matter and even stats to see what traffic they are getting matter. If that dries up, they might find better ways to do things. If it doesn't, they'll just assume this is how we want it to be.

You don't like the game, that's ok, but seriously how does it getting an award affect you? Why are these people even posting here anymore? Bizarre.
Edit - Wasn't aimed at OP, was aimed at the replies crying

So yes? It is indeed quite an accomplishment.
Not really.
Haven't played Xenoblade and Borderlands 2 is pretty much just about the insane amount of guns couple with some RPG elements.
Though, Handsome Jack is an infinitely more entertaining villain than The Delusive Man.

ME3 won Best RPG from Gametrailers, IGN (plus IGN"s People's Choice Award), GameInformer, and VGAs. It was a clean sweep. Congratulations to EA/Bioware.

The people's choice awards are fake too....nobody ever sees the vote count except the award givers....how convenient.
And Journey is a PS3 exclusive.....that's likely Sony's doing to increase awareness and sales.
