Ashen Earth left Team AreleX because he didn't want his actions on BSN to reflect the group, we have also on numerous occasions have backed down from a confrontation out of respect to our group such times include OptimistMan and Bahroo, and this may become one aswell. I generally won't be a dick to anyone on the BSN until they insult me or a group I belong too, especially when it's Team AreleX where most of the players I've met I know well enough to actually call them friends and not just "people I play with" which is exactly how I felt whilst playing with Kevin and Octal. It was a simple review, nothing more and yet I got posts dismissing me as a nobody who's opinion doesn't matter. At least my opinion was built upon an actual experience and not just some label you attached to us because you generalised and stereotyped our group without ever actually speaking to, playing with or generally acknowledging the existence of anyone within the group.


So yeah, all I stated was an opinion, do you think FromSoft, BioWare or Bethesda would claim IGN's opinion never mattered? No because it's an opinion based off of their experience whilst playing one of their games. They don't attack the reviewer, they take it constructively and possibly look at one or two things that the reviewer particularly had an issue with. I gave you a chance to possibly change your groups image but I've certainly not felt inclined to join and quite a lot of people upon seeing this conflict and your group members' responses to those who voiced their opinion on the group will feel just as disinclined. Your members need to learn the difference between an opinion and an attack. I gave an opinion. You then proceeded to attack and insult me and my group, if you can't see how you are pushing away players then I wash my hands of this argument...

Honestly I hope we are wrong and that maybe of this gorup's players aren't as offputting but alas the more members I contact the more my OG impression is proven right.

for those who have joined the group, found the experience unsavory and left, sorry about that. i would ask that, before you post on this thread bashing an entire group because of a small portion of it that you think again. i myself have run with members of some of the other "elite" groups out there and some of their members were great, some were jackasses. what i did not do is run to their bsn thread and complain about them. i simply realized that i CAN'T JUDGE AN ENTIRE GROUP BY THE BEHAVIOR OF A COUPLE PEOPLE. please do the same.
@caldari ghost: you know me man. we've had plenty of great runs and there are plenty of people in this group who are chill players. i'm sorry you didn't meet them before you left.
@white rider: i don't know you, but i think you've made your opinions clear enough.
@luckybullet: sorry we never got to run b4 you left us man.

Silentstep, yes, we have had some great runs and I hope we continue to do so. I simply chose not to be part of a group which continues to be represented by those two. You, killishandra, and -jp- are still my favorite group to run with. Canerican is also pretty awesome

I know they do not actually represent the group, but they have the loudest voices and unfortunately do not have very good ones. I'll be happy to play with anyone from the group that is awesome like you guys.

That's the best approach to take imo.

I know I wouldn't want to be a part of any group where being a member means you forfeit your own identity.

The group could be chock full of some of the nicest people around, but when the loudest voices ofthe lit are people like those two it can only serve to dampen the reputation of the group. You are better off without them.

This. You're the first member of this group I've met that has generally tried to be civil and not just blatantly insult the validity of someone else's opinion and then go on to insult a group they have no experience with. I would've took my issues to the leader though until now (because Moonsatt wasn't part of the initial recruitment drive) I thought Kevin was the leader (he apologised for Octaal's behaviour and other stuff) and he ended up being one of the few people I took issue with. I posted simply because people deserve to know what they are getting into. Maybe you and Moon are genuinely nice guys but the few I played with weren't. Apologies for derailing your thread but opinions are made to be voiced. You should really take a look at some of your members and how they behave on the forums because I've felt offended by several (Phoenix and Octaal) to name the two who most come to mind.

AreleX kept his group in line, Ashen left because of it (sorry for badly wording my post earlier Ashen,I know why you left and it's perfectly understandable). You have to realise that a group can't truly become a community when your loudest mouths have bad attitudes, they are advertising your group every time they post, I know I wouldn't want to join a group where the recruitment thread has Meme's saying "we don't care", "whatever" and pics that claim BSNers are whining. It's always nice to see a new group emerge but not everyone truly deserves to be embraced as part of a community. Team AreleX learned that the hard way (though granted the two I'm thinking about weren't TA members theywere just trolls attacking us).

I will avoid threads linked to your group from now on, though I will wish you luck in developping a community as friendly as some of the ones I'm already involved in.

I left because I couldn't stand his pissy attitude, and it started becoming an issue long before Team AreleX was even created. If my posts on BSN were really that much of a problem, I should have never been invited to join the group.
