I am playing on PC with x-box controller. 
PC is better for offline play, because you can install 60 fps patch. There are also a lot of various graphic mods, Invasions are pretty stable, but I guess there are more players on PS3.

The port to the PC is alright but you're going to need a controller for it. Also as far as I know cheating seeems to be pretty common on the pc. Not sure about the ps3 though.

Isn't WASD plus mouse a good way to play?

No, NO! I only use mouse for archery.

From what I read the keyboard controls were decent but this game has little to no real support for a mouse. The developers even said they didn't know what they were doing when they made the port. Despite that it still runs pretty well. On the steam store page they even reccomend an xbox 360 contoller but a PS3 one will probably work. I think they're just harder to get set-up.

I think I'll hold off buying for now then.
PS3 games are too expensive for me over here and I like my mouse controls, also I tried putting a ps2 controller into my PC for Guilty Gear 2 relaoded... and It worked fine... untill it started to control player 1 and 2 simultaniously.
