I just replayed the whole series, and though I enjoyed most of the experience thoroughly, I was a little disappointed in the lack of there being anything for those who didn't romance anyone.

I was a femshep, Garrus was with Tali (unlike my last  playthrough where I romanced her), but still was my bro and was the one holding my name in the end, hesitantly. Still, I'm sad that it turned out to be true that Anderson's beautiful end dialogue talking about starting a family, was removed. The extended cut helped, however, I think had that scene still been in there, the over all playthrough with no relationships, would have seemed more rewarding.

I remember Joker in ME3, when we were in the bar, saying something along the lines of my love being the Normandy, and maybe that was true for my character, but it would have been nice to have more.

In the end, despite the geth and EDI, destroy seemed the most appropriate for the series.

I know, right? I usually don't romance anyone either. The Shepard was planning on being my canon never romanced anyone. I always kind of expected he'd have to make the ultimate sacrifice in the end and I didn't want to leave a lover. Just about nothing changes. Rumor going around that Anderson's "extended" speech on the Citadel is just plain false. It never plays, ever.

Although there is one fun bit. EDI has two dialogue branches in one tree: "Shepard, you have firsthand sexual experience. How do you know when someone is romantically invested?" plays if Shepard has romanced someone, anyone. "When you are sexually interested in another, what kind of advances do you make?" if not. EDI has separate dialogue for Commander Shepard: The Galaxy's Oldest Virgin. classic.

You mean to say you were mildly amused by the sentiment?

Yes, that and destroy are my favourite. I'm glad they added that to the extended cut. I thought it was appropriate that they have Liara's box playing it, though, I found it kind of disappointing that no matter what I picked back in my room on the Normandy, her final response doesn't really play out differently.

There's also this fan made one, that when I romanced Tali, I thought was amazing: www.youtube.com/watch

You could say that. If you're playing on PC you could always choose MEHEM.

Indeed I am, and I've seen it before too, though, heard it was still unfinished. I also wanted to see the true endings, before I altered anything.

I envy you PC users. I think I might have to buy all the mass effects for PC and then get that ending mod. Because I love mass effect that much.

Why would there be anything extra for not romancing anyone?

Or you could save yourself the money and time, and just watch it online. It's actually not badly done either, and it's quite long as well, which is good considering its the end results of a trilogy; roughly 15 minutes at least.

Because there existed a cut audio file of Shepard talking to Anderson, before he died. And rumour was, had you 100% readiness, high enough EMS, and no relationships throughout the series, you'd get it.

I've heard it before, and thought it was beautifully done. I wanted to see the actual visuals of it however. Just sad it didn't make the cut, even for the extended cut no less.

While I do have a PC capable of running it, I don't have the Mass Effect trilogy on PC.. I simply can't justify giving Bioware anymore money, especially when it is for someone else's work.

That being said, if BioWare don't do anything to improve upon the current situation before the end of the dlc cycle... Then I will reluctantly purchase ME3 for the PC as a consolidation for all the entertain the rest of the ME franchise has given me, download MEHEM, and remember ME3 how it deserves to be remembered. Although on the other hand, if they do do something with it (fingers-crossed) I will buy it on PC still, but only *after* d/ling it on xbox and finishing my 4 other playthroughs waiting to be imported.

There was also a rumour that NG+ would give you a different ending lol. In reality what does it give you? A useless upgrade and a fish.

And yea it sucks, it was a beautiful talk...

Four playthroughs? This is only my second runthrough of the game, took me a few weeks to complete, and honestly, I think I'm done, lol. At least until they put out an (hopefully) amazing new DLC, that again, (hopefully) improves on the ending results, as well as adds to the story in general.

How did you achieve 16,000? That doesn't seem possible without the gibbed editor.

What recruit packs are you talking about? Are you referring to MP? Because I scoured all over SP, and checked my choices throughout all playthroughs, and still only got around 8200 in total, that includes readiness being at 100%.

Yea, two with Kaidan, 1 Garrus and 1 Liara renegade.

I have more but I still have to finish ME2 with them. I'm the same as well though, I played through once with my canon, and then played through again two more times with my canon for EC and Leviathan. But I didn't finish the game with Levi coz we still got same rubbish choices.

Honestly, the only real low-blow to a non-romance Shep is the deliberate camera focus on the empty bed before the last mission. It technically worked for MY Shepard, because she would have pursued Garrus, but didn't feel 'the time was right' before he hooked up with Tali, and she likes Tali as a sister, so wouldn't try to break them up.

However... My Shep uses these things called Pajamas... because it's cold in that damn cabin.

Thank you.

And no, I don't play MP much, if at all (only reason I did was to get my readiness up). I just had some extra time lately, and decided to go through the series again. Figured maybe she bought something, because EA does that sometimes, being all, "Hey look, are you too lazy to do this? Here, buy this instead!"
