Implying succumbing to the harvest doesn't end the way the reapers want it to.

It doesn't though. The next cycle is free of it, because they were warned in advance and had all the information way ahead of time.

You don't know that, shepard is dead. Your viewpoint is gone.

Having principles doesn't absolve responsibility - your principles have killed everyone, even though they may not have shared them. You have imposed your opinion regardless of the choice you make.

and honestly, why the hell would you fight for the next cycle? you may aswell just not play the games.

Yes we do know, actually. After the credits, there is another scene where they refer to her as "the Shepard," because she is a known hero, despite her story being from thousands of years ago.

Your avatar simulates my response to this.

You mean to say you were mildly amused by the sentiment?

You could say that. If you're playing on PC you could always choose MEHEM.

I long for the day MEHEM allows us to boink Javik.

That mod really has nothing to do with changing anything else, other than the ending.

Ah yes the "i woke up and it was all a dream" scene.

I love the part where we play the game from shepards point of view and we don't swap between 1st and 3rd person....wait

Bad writing.

Javik decimates the reasoning behind refuse mid-game.

Bio's been showing stuff outside of the PC's POV since BG2. Or even the opening cinematic of BG1.

Bad writing and bad voice acting was the old man at the end of the credits, however, refuse features a woman with solid voice acting, and a display that Shepard was a hero, even in the end.

When did Javik "dispute" this?

He doesn't "dispute" anything, he calls it as it is.

"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters"

Shepard allows for forced extinction, having pinciples doesn't excuse that fact. It doesn't matter what stargazer scene you watch, it utlimately makes shepards story worthless (and a waste of time, if you chose refuse).

A resist ending - die trying, would have made sense. Refuse is surrendering under false pretence.
