So I just finished ME1 on PS3 for the first time.  I've completed it a few times on my roommate's XBox and was super pumped to play the series on my own system.  Anyway,  immediately after finishing, I decided to pop in ME2 to be sure the conversion worked.  After ME2 started, it prompted me to download the patch, which I did.  Finally, I was ready to start the game.

Now, as I said, I completed the series on the xbox before, so I knew what to expect.  My Shepard romanced Kaidan, on the xbox, and so I got to see him sporting the silly pink Alliance armor and all that.  Since my main femshep romanced him for the PS3 playthrough, I fully expected to again see Kaidan come running to tell Shepard that Joker won't budge from the cockpit.  But it wasn't Kaidan who came running, it was Liara.  I was stunned, and a little annoyed.  I decided to look up whether the companion who comes to find you is your romance or simply random between Liara and the VS.  Everything I found indicated it's supposed to be your romance.

So, long story shorter, is there a glitch with the port between ME1 and ME2 for PS3?  Before ME1 was available, they defaulted this scene to be Liara.  Always.  Did that particular default simply stay in place, or did something mess up with my transfer?  I mean, I know for 100% I romanced Kaidan.  I got the dang Paramour trophy for it.  Are any other PS3 users having this problem?  Or am I wrong and it really is supposed to be random between Liara and the VS?

Also, sorry for the long-winded explanation.  I just figured if I didn't give the whole story people would ask me anyway.

Really?  Okay then.  I mean, that doesn't make me feel better since I was looking forward to it being Kaidan, but at least I know it isn't just a messed up transfer or something on my part.  Thanks!

I have done the whole trilogy on ps3 now, every bit of dialogue and extra characters are there. That seems to be the only hiccup with the save transfer , the romance feels more complete with the new bits of dialogue!
