I'm usually 22, maybe 23.
I have no idea how people get to 25 without doing allied donations/glytches.
What level do you typically finish the game at?

With most side quests completed, I usually finish around level 20.

OK so I am right around target. The irony is I've been giving runes etc to the supply boxes and NEVER noticed any xp increase.

21 twice and did all of the side quests that I found on the second run. I must be missing something quite a few if so many are getting to 23-24

21 to 23 so far in my playthrough with almost hitting 24 last playthrough. I'm about to finish the 5th one.

21 on all my past three runs.
I don't like to run after side quests that much and my mages already have all the spells I wanted around level 16-17.

Mine was either level 21, 22 or 23. I know never hit 25.
I also never realized you could drop stuff in the allied caches...

23 is the highest level I wound up at with as completionist a playthrough as I could manage. I didn't do Warden's Keep or Stone Prisoner in that run - so the people that got to 24, hats off to you.

24 with the two DLCs, on a human noble rogue.

The two characters that I've completed so far both finished at 21.
one did a lot of sidequests, the other I turned in a lot of stuff to the crates (didn't really realize it gave you XP) but didn't do so many sideqeusts.
The current playthrough I'm on I cheated and used the repeatable XP trick in Ostagar to cheese a few levels
Should be interesting to see where this one ends up.

20 usually, but I have to do EVERYTHING in the game.
Otherwise if I just stick to the main quest, 15-18.

My first play-through (with Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner) I finished just shy of 23 I think. I did refuse a few side-quests, and the road to arch-demon was more of a cleaning the way up as fast as possible instead of killing everything that moves, though
Second way around I went up all the way to 25, but that's only because I saved up a lot of ingredients to donate to the armies, otherwise I'd be 23 again

I have finished most of my playthoughs around level 23-24. I do all the side quests that I can except the Crows. I have both DLC's, so that helps a lot. There is one spot now beside the chests in the camp where you can still get lots of xp, just by going in and out of a door, but I'm not in to doing that one too much.

First run through I just "speeded" through most of the game, only doing the major plot quests, because I wanted to see how the game ended as fast as I could (heh) ... - I finished the game at level 17 ...
On the subsequent runs I did what I normally do, and explored everything I could in every possible area and tried to comlete my Codex Entries to the fullest extent ... Ending the game at level 23 ...
The level progression through out Dragon Age is my single only "beef" with the game itself ... - Everything else is pretty much in order and quite awesome to play through, especially the dialogue sequences ... - I've never saved as much as I did in this game, ever playing any other RPG game before ... - Simply because I just wanted to see the different outcomes ...
Personally I would have liked it (even) more if the level progression hasn't been as "rapid" as it was in the game ... Preferably ending at around level 15-17 (at the most possible) ...
I mean ... I got the DLC Wardens Keep and The Stone Prisoner and went back to complete these, at a very late stage in the game, and had absolute no problems with completing either ... It wasn't even a challenge (even at "Hard") ...
I don't know about the most of you people, but having "Super men and women" in a RPG kinda takes some of the fun away ... - Atleast it does for me ... If I wanted that kind of game play, I would probably be playing Diablo (a game I just cannot stand LOL) ...
That's about the only thing I really don't like about the game ... That you end up having pretty "overpowered" characters ...
