I decided to make this topic to help the devs with their first patch by listing problems / bugs / features that should be added into the game. So if you have found any bug / issue or you have a feature you would like to see in a patch please write here.
Bugs:
*When defending RedCliff against the zombie attack, the zombies some time don't spawn and some time don't move. AND sometimes there seem to spawn extra zombies. (is it a random nr or a bug?)
*If you remove your armor or change it to another the blood will have moved over to that "skin"
*Some times if you try to walk past a object the character will take the long path around even when there is a closer path. (only when using the mouse to move).
*When you have been captured by the sloth demon and you need to free the spirits that give you the ability to transform there can sometimes be a huge delay before the "npc talk" event happens. Some times i even walked out of the zone and got warped back to the event. (This also happens at other "kill X and save Y and Y will talk to you quests)
*The above bug can also happen when you talk to your companions in the dream. You help them see the truth and then after you have killed the demon / evil spirit you have to talk to your companion again and do the talking all over again (but this time without the fighting).
*Some times it take the game 3-5min to load a area. Honestly its not loading the first 95% of the loading time and just "stuck". You can hear when it starts to load once the music play (and then it takes like 3-8sec depending on the area).
*When fighting Ogres you can avoid being hit if you controll the character that have agro and just run around him. (AI problem)
*Most of the time you can't see the set bonus from items.
*Game Balance bug***
Its Safer to stay at ranged against bosses then to be in melee. Take the first real dragon boss you fight (as a example). If you make your melee people go forward they will take lots of extra damage, crits and lets not forget the special attacks where she pick you up and starts to eat you. Another example is the broodmother, if you simply stay away from her and move away from the tentacles while using ranged on the boss / tentacles / spawns you will faceroll over the encounter. Need to be rebalanced to either make it more worth to stay in melee or make the bosses do more ranged damage.
*If there is a spell effect on a mob and it dies there is a huge delay before you get out of combat / can loot it. Even the quest journal get a delay from it. Untill the spell run out that is.
*Sometimes at the Human Noble origin in the room where the guards hold the door so you can get to your father the way out is locked so you can't continue.
*If a door is locked and it will open after a event (be that talking or anything like that) there is a huge chance that it will stay locked.
*If you have found alot of traps you can disarm it and then move away and disarm the next. Even if you are on the other side of the room the first one you clicked on will get disarmed.
*The Revenant thingy (or how its spellt) is immune to frost. But with Cone of Cold you can still turn it into ice. If you have two mages you can keep it frozen for a year.
*(AI) Your rogue detects a trap and... people still run over it.

*When in one of the back alleys, if you go up steps to the small platforms during combat, you cant get back down!
*I was dual weilding in combat, and changed off-hand weapon to a shield
and it put the weapon in the shield position in 3rd person view. I was
blocking things with my sword (well only graphically as in the
(inventory tab, it showed I had a shield equiped)

*Redcliffe vs. zombies (second wave) is horribly bugged. They will spawn
endlessly. I counted up to 90 (kite them to the top of the hill,
repeat) before giving up.

*(AI) If you cast the force field spell on an ally who has agro enemies continue to attack him, despite the fact that he is immune to damage - You can faceroll many encounters using this method. Works particularly well for casters, they will spend all their mana fireballing your forcefield.

*pretty big bug is Shale's nightmare stage, pathing is bugged at entrance so what you must do is manually move with move forward key. Since i click always, it took me a while to figure it out
*If you use a caster, have a rogue sneak ahead of the group, glance inside the room, then close the door . (its got to be indoors)
you can kill ALL enemies inside the next room, with various spells , i was repeatedly using primal cold's first spell.
AI will just stand there as you pick them off one by one.
*also, if you stealth by enemies you will get "in combat" message, even though no one is, it is a pretty big bug

*In the Warden's Keep DLC:
Upon killing the Rage Demon in Soldier's Peak, on the upper floor of the keep, the locked door will not unlock, even after the NPC is spoken to.

*After a death (sometimes) the screen displays a green flash which you can see through, but doesnt entirely disappear. It makes the loading screen go entirely black with a faint outline of the text and whenever an area is loaded, it is in huge pixels.
Does not seem to affect game performance other than loading, however it is very annoying in the splash screen that follows deaths.

*People in the general forum reported that daggers damage comes 100% from strength while it should be 50% str and 50% dex. That's a bug !

*You are still susceptible to being knocked by overwhelm from dogs and wolves if you are using Indomitable.

*The bug with Redcliff, wave 1, is usually resolved by going up into the green mist and finding the straggler. For some reason, the last one sometimes doesn't agro onto anything. Perhaps if you kill too effciently, he gets scared!
*With wave 2, the guys go on for a while, and I ended up running around looking at the docks before they stopped spawning. Not sure if it's a trigger, or what, but I felt the same way, that they were infinite for a while. Haven't replayed it to test it though.
*The bug with loading seems to be related to play time, and thus is most likely a memory leak somewhere. After 4 hours or so, a fresh restart of the game shortens the time back to normal. The game is purging buffer, it appears, when it waits for so long. Then the "loading" animation moves really fast, as it catches back up with the system.
*Can confirm that combat doesn't "end" until the last hostile spell is dissipated. Woe be to the traveler who casts any of the large area-effect spells on the sole remaining guy.

*Not sure if a bug ..but it happens in a cutscene.
But .. when you get Alistair to ask you into his tent for the romance plot, the models are standing on top of each other in the same space when they are apparently going to kiss .. the point before the tent scene.
*Heya, here's another graphic bug in cutscene.
While my Human Noble female was wearing the Soldier's Heavy Helm (Steel) .. it did not show up in the dialogue with Alistair when he asks to kiss me ...
But when they move to do so the helm goes on!

*I encountered this with my elf mage in the circle tower at the beginning:
If I click to have her use a door at the top of a staircase, she runs up the stairs but gets stuck running in place just before the top step, and thus never uses the door. I have to manually move her the rest of the way to the door so she can use it. It happens consistently. Since this is the circle tower, these are the doors leading to the next upper level.
*My mage's wisp disappeared graphically while running around in the spider cave under the circle tower, but the wisp's effect and mana reserve were still active. Ending and restarting the spell got the wisp to reappear.
*The 'blackened' staff you find while helping Jowan get his phylactery disappears from my character's back after arriving at Ostagar. I had to revert to an apprentice staff once I noticed it was gone.
*NPC speech is sometimes muted or very faint when talking to 'scenery' NPCs who simply bark something. Talking to them again usually corrects the sound. I'm running an Asus Xonar card for reference, and I'm not forcing stereo (no headphones here!)
*Just had a crash to desktop while fighting darkspawn inside the entry doors of the Tower of Ishal, but this was after a few hours of play so probably just another case of 'game becoming unstable after 2-3 hours' which is popular these days.
*I have to concur with theories of memory leaks. The game's performance decreases significantly after an hour or two of play, even on an x64 machine with 6GB of system memory. Performance decreases manifest in store open/close, character window open/close, conversation end, and similar things. This also leads to a high chance of crashing to desktop when loading new areas. Thus I'm having to save before entering any doorways or pathways to avoid losing progress. Now if I could stop forgetting to do that...

*My game runs perfect fisrst but after a few area changes it turns very slow, i monitored the RAM and processor activity during loading and it stocks up stuff in the RAM but it doesn't go down when you enter another area, it just builds up and continue to do so everytime you enter a new area. My RAM starts at 1.73 gb, then it slowly moves up to 2.12 gb and there is when the game loading screens are delayed, took up to 10 min once. Please solve this. Im running Windows vista, got 3 gb DDR2 RAM
**sigh* I tried patching to V 1.01 Encountered a wierd bug after i patched it wouldnt let me start the game, i pressed play on the launcher and nothing happened. I re-installed the game and now it works again except the memory leak. I updated my graphics drivers and it made it partially better but the leak is still there

*Using the ranger animal companion skill gives you a 'new tactics available' popup, where you seem to be able to set some tactics they wouldn't normally be able to use.
*Sometimes summoning the ranger animal gave me a crash to desktop, these 2 things may be related. I stopped setting the tactics for them and the game stopped crashing.

*BUG: At soldiers peak when u talk to Dreyden after the battles are all over to see his wares nothing happens he just stands there and u can wallk away. no vendor window appears. TOTAL bug!

*XBOX360*Biggest problem I've found on the 360 is that after playing for a couple hours you have to restart the console or the dead mobs don't drop loot. The quests also don't advance. While doing the proving in Orzammar I was waiting 2-3 minutes after finishing each match to reach a cut scene to be able to start the next match. Restarting the console solves the problem for another hour or so.

*summon skeleton: he poofs whenever you zone
*BALANCE ISSUE*curse of mortality: sucks? havent found a use for this, the damage is pathetic with high cost and long cooldown.
*blood magic: deactives if you fart loud, talk to people, cast spells, load new area, open your inventory..... all can cause blood magic to turn off.
*warriors: both shale and allistar will just stop attacking, seems to happen when they try and use taunt. i have had shale standing at the mob doing nothing and when i clicked on him taunt was blinking like it had been qued but he just stood there. seen it happen more on shale than allistar.

*Worst bug I've had so far is the weapon graphics went wrong. Whatever I loaded up on, it always showed bow+arrows; and it would use the bow+arrows graphics in fights no matter what I had loaded. Strange watching the character use the bow+arrows as sword/shields. I had to quit and reload to get around the glitch.

*My Alister keeps getting stuck in combat stance. He regenerates normal, but walks as slow as if he were in combat.

*Memory Leak with levels not unloading resources properly (The afore mentioned Ram issue), even on a 64 Bit machine things start bogging down after an hour or three of play depending on where you are in the world, this also effects any CUT SCENES which is why after a bit of play even cut scenes begin to lag out some what.
*When doing the Mage Tower (not the Origins but later) The Spirit doors are near Impossible to easily click on.. it's like their transitions are set to an insanely 'small' space rather then the actual door itself.
*Don't know if this is a bug but Potions don't work in the fade at all (health don't know about mana) and as such really shouldn't LET you click on them at all and waste them..

*Some quests on the chantry board doesn't give gold as promised, eg, unintended consequences.
*The mage collective quest turn in is kind of buggy, I'm a player who likes to turn in many quests at once but the rewards doesn't seem to stack.
Turn in: Careless accusations+gift of silence+note of termination = 2g
Turn in: Careless accusations+gift of silence = 2g / note of termination = 1g.
*And the weirdest of all was "The golem registry" in orzammar, in the quest turn in dialogue the shaper offers u an artifact from the library but you actually don't get anything, not even a codex entry.

*I startded of with a Human, noble rogue, and made it to the part where I meet and join up with Sten. After that, I went to Camp and talked to my companians around the fire, getting to know them a bit better.
I save the game, and start it again the following day.
This time, there is a new questgiver at the camp named Levi Dryden. I can not take his quest (download something), cause my points is to low. But this is when the problem starts to show up...
I wanted to talk to Leliana, and when I started the conversation, she gave me the same starting-line as the first time we met (at the pub), and I had to listen to the same lines I used to get her to join my party. Even worse, the camera was not showing her, it was facing the horizon, and when the conversation was done, we where standing outside the playable area of the camp. I had to run around and look for a way back in. When I finaly got inside, she was still standing outside the area. Wierd???
I reloaded the saved game, and decided not to talk to her again.
Instead I wanted to continue playing, and picked a place to travel on the world map. I choosed my companions to join me, but when I leave camp, my companions are not with me? I'm on my own??
*And the dog, I cant do anything with it anymore. I click it, but nothing happens... It is clickable, but will not respond to my clickin'.
*I started a new caracter today, a Dwarf.
I run around at the dwarf-place, and my companion Leske is workin' fine. I played 'til I get to the part Luskan tells me to get Alistair. He talks to the mage (or what that is), and then to me, and we are about to go to Luskan and get the first Warden quest, but he will not join my party!?
I went to talk to Luskan, hwo gave me the quest, and the two other wardens join my party (Daveth and Jory), but not Alistair. I cant remember, but I think Alistair joined the party about here when I played the Human char???
So, to be precise: I can not join a party with Sten, Alistair, Morrigan, my dog or Leliana after the Levi Dryden showed up at my camp. Not in that saved game, or in any new game I start.

*Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just missing something. Inn keeper in the spoiled princess first refuses to give you any info. After leaving the inn and dealing with the cultist attack talking to him again gives a brief cutscene but after this there is no option in the dialogue to ask him again about the priest and the knights, which stops the quest dead in it's tracks. The cultists also didn't drop anything to move the quest onwards. No new areas have become available on the world map and the innkeeper still has the quest completion marker above his head.

*In Denerim if you kill the bandits for the Chanters Board quest "Back Alley Justice" before you actually take the quest you will never be able to finish it.
The quest will become stuck on the board unable to be accepted (even though it becomes marked as if you have accepted it) and you will not be rewarded for killing the bandits.

*Iunno what happened, but halfway through "Nature of the Beast" quest line, any allied member I didn't directly control just stood around doing nothing, and in combat they wouldn't engage anything unless the enemy came right up to them. The pooch just stopped engaging enemies entirely.
Features:
*I would like to see a "option" to enable console.
*I would like to see the Human Noble and the Dwarf commoner abit longer. They feel abit rushed compared to the mage / dalish and city elf (where there is alot more to do).
*Export / import characters. (Required for mods).
*The ability to add and move more action bars.

*You need to edit the topic twice for the new editing to show up.
