1) Redcliff Castle: Although I saved the son of Earl Aemon by using the circle and thus not sacrificing anyone, the codex still reads I sacrificed his mother.

I agree; so far Bioware has been rather quiet since game release, and all we've seen is a patch for a patch that changed a few things, most of which haven't been a problem for me. I know they patched NWN repeatedly, but over a very long time period. If I ever took that long to do something at work I'd be looking for another job, especially in today's business climate.MrIsidor wrote...
Suggestion: I think this topic really should get stickied. Shouldn't it be in BioWare's best interest to quickly find out what's troubling people in the game and that must surely be easier if all reports are collected in an easy to find sticky. Now I had to go several pages back on the forum to find it.
Back to the topic:
- The camp dwarf (can never remember his name) respawned his blood armor after I bought the pieces to go with the chest. In fact he reset his entire inventory so I was able to buy extra copies of the talent/spell bonus point books/runes/downloadable items, etc.. All I did was shop, leave camp to free Shale, and come back to camp to do more shopping. This resetting of inventory didn't occur when I did the same process for Soldier's Peak; his inventory is as I left it prior to heading to SP. I was thinking, "cool I can outfit my character and Alistair in blood armor" but alas I have only one chest piece.

I've noticed this to, the list of bugs in NWN was stickied and summerized every so often, but also keep in mind Bioware now has 3 systems (PC, 360, PS3) to look after while I assume we are mostly talking about the PC version here..
I also can't help but think Bioware sighing about all this. They release Mass Effect to an audience of millions without any real after support or changing much to the gameplay. Now they release DA, it draws a very different crowd who complain about everything from a +1 sword which should be 2+ etc. We yet have to see the sales of DA go up to Mass Effect levels, keep in mind all these patches and reprogramming cost tons, Bethesda just lets the community fix it - easy way out. But just look at NWN2, they are still patching that game -bad business case if you ask me...

I didn't agree to Anora being the queen when she first asked.
I convinced the landsmeet to give me the decision.
In the landsmeet I told I shall rule with Alister, he didn't allow it as I am an elf.
I talked with Alister and named her the queen.
Earl Eamon did express some displeasure with it.
After talking with Morrigan I go into Alistair's room and he gives me a text that clearly is intended for the option where he becomes king, like: I see people look at me differently, it is real, I am their king. Then: this is what I get for being a king.
I do not know if this will further influence the game end or not. I'll alter the post once I know.

During the whole affair with Morrigan's little deal, you can actually get her to sleep with your female PC if you do the following:
- Have Loghain in your party
- Talk to Loghain, return to Morrigan and select "I'm sorry Morrigan, isn't there some other way?" or something (the last option)
- She'll say no, there is no other way. "Very well, Alistair has agreed." and "Very well, Loghain has agreed." both show up. Select the Alistair one.
- Alistair's disembodied voice will say some stuff, then the sexytime scene will initiate...with your female PC!
Here, I uploaded some video evidence -

Worst bug I've encountered so far: I executed Loghain during the Landmeet quest but he reappeared during the endgame scene and even became a Grey Warden!!!!! (He also appeared as an invisible party member during the Defending Denerim Gates quest)
I had this same problem too actually.
Dang bugger doesn't like to stay dead.

- Could be a fluke, but for the first time ever since I started playing Nov. 4th, Levi re-appeared in camp after completion of the Soldier's Peak quest line, with an exclamation point over his head. I talked to him and he asked me if I'd made a decision yet (!!!) so I told him let's go right now, and he ran off, but I stayed in camp. So I left camp and traveled to the peak and there he was with all his family acting like he should (vendor). Very odd.
- When walking (versus running - my evil mage walks around like Arnold Vosloo in the Mummy movies), it is very difficult to walk over the platform steps at the entrance to the circle mage supply area behind Owain. I have to turn side to side while walking forward to finally get over the steps. I suspect this is related to the tendency for a running player-controlled character to sometimes get hung up on steps (especially top steps).
- When swinging the camera around and having Shale in the group with a glowing (from crystals) buff on his hands, I occasionally see jets of that glowing magic shooting across the screen as if it is trying to catch up to Shale. This only happens when I'm scanning an area by rotating the camera and Shale is just leaving the view or coming into the view.
Other than that I'm seeing occasions where speech doesn't match subtitle text, and bad sentence form in codex entries. Technically not bugs, but annoying for a proofreader like myself. I often wish for an edit button for the codex so I can reword things for more efficient reading. Fortunately spelling errors are rare so far, but those are easier to catch by a QA team.

- Some staves don't auto-attack; can't recall which ones right now unfortunately.
- Mob aggro/AI is somewhat broken when it comes to stealthed characters and the rest of the party. If I park my group in a separate room, close the door, and send a stealthy character into a nearby room full of monsters, the monsters will properly ignore the stealthy character but will go through the door to attack the rest of the party. This only happens if monsters are within normal combat awareness distance of the other party members; if the party is parked beyond that distance (regardless of line of sight), monsters remain unaware until I initiate an attack or otherwise leave stealth. Needless to say this is rather annoying and, at least upon initial entrance of enemy territory, ruins the whole point of scouting under stealth.

I know that some of this bug has already been described, but I noticed something that might be helpful in fixing it.
I had to talk to Liliana and Wynne about 5 times each before they woke up. Alistair came out of it on first talking to him. Maybe part of this is intentional (they are dreaming after all, so it would be logical that you have to convince them that it is not real) but when I was working on Wynne I noticed the following:
1. After each unsuccessful attempt the game halted for a short while (I'd say a second, but I did not time it with a stopwatch, obviously) before reverting to the same old situation with you standing in front of Wynne
2. On about the 5th try to wake Wynne up, I walked around and tried to leave through the portal. But it said that I could not do that because I was in ... combat! (NB: the enemies were already dead, of course). What''s even more odd is that my character did NOT look like she was in combat (character was in the normal rest-position)
3. When I pressed Escape I noticed that indeed I should be in combat because I could not save my game
4. After pressing Esc again (back to the game) the situation reset, and I had the final cutscene in which she finally wakes up.
Hope this helps finding what's wrong in the code.

*It is possible to get the messenger boy in Denerim to show up before you even completed 1 treaty quest. He won't talk but he's there and speaking to him nets a 1 liner (best messenger service etc) and the antivan crow quest. Going on that quest even works but dialogie completely assumes you already had the Zevran encounter.
**Note that after obtaining the quest in this buggy manner means Ignacio is still in the market square and telling him you finished Paedran there completely bugs the quest as the game script seemingly cannot put the new quest letters into the chest (as that chest is elsewhere). Tried going into the gnawed noble tavern afterwards and Ignacio was then there, but chest still unclickable. Worked fine if I ignore him at the market square and head directly to tavern
*Going to Lothering (after Ostagar) and then leaving it quickly, going to camp, then elsewhere and back to Lothering. Then finishing Lothering and going to camp seems to somehow reset your camp. i.e. I bought a tome in camp and had the initial companion convos there but after the above chain all the items were back in store and the companion convos played out as if they never happened before.
*Topsider blade components remain in your plot inventory even after you reassemble the blade from its (these) pieces.
*A character being hit by sufficient (probably 6+) webs at once can have its movement bugged. Happened when Alistair charged at the Lothering spiders and got hit by all those webs concurrently. After the battle he played the movement sound constantly without moving and wouldn't auto follow anymore. Selecting and moving him manually resulted in him moving without animation.
*Some (not all) key requiring locks give XP when opening them with a key. Prerequisite being that you also have the open lock skill. The XP usually ranges from 50 to 101 for these.
*Bonus XP from archivist belt is not given to companions, they get 50 while you get 75.
*Weapon skills do not take into account additional weapon damage (runes and weapon properties). For example using assault (swinging blade 4 times) only deals blade base damage without elemental/bonus to creature type damage. Same for other suchs skills.
*Deactivate mode in tactics does not seem to work. Could not get Shale to deactivate stone aura even when I changed everything to deactivate.
*Tactics seem to still run deactivated tactics if those have not actually been cleared.
*Tactics: Assigning an action on the nearest enemy class does not work properly: action is still performed on nearest enemy in general.
*Tactics: Default preset tactics allow certain conditions that custom ones do not.
*Tactics: Multi field tactics always take the target from the very last condition as the action target.
*Some odd display issue with reserved stamina. Oftentimes my main warrior would show 50 stamina reserved when no tactics nor sustained skills were active. And then activating a skill that costs upkeep would reduce[/b] the stamaina reservation display. This seems to be a display issue only however and not affect actual gameplay.
*One of the (leghold) traps at the bridge in Kolcari Wilds can be found but not activated nor disarmed. Probably because its partially inside the floor.
*Enemies are not lootable unless all effects on them wear off. This can result in quests not updating for several minutes if the dead enemy is plot. This generally occurs when killing an enemy while under effect of paralysis or frost from a very high magic mage.
*Characters told to disarm a trap can disarm several within 1 animation. i.e. the initial click (and feedback from trap) is sufficient for disarm and the character can move on to continue disarming more traps/do other actions. The traps then after a while feedback the disarmed message and xp gain message. This means that the crouch-disarm animation is really superfluous and does nothing.
*After disarming a trap (by initiating disarm) and telling a character to attack someone, the character is stuck in disarm animation and will not attack until animation complete. However, it is possible to start disarm and then tell the character to move and attack, which cuts off the disarm animation (animation cancelling).
*When telling a character to range-attack an enemy at far range, the character (only main, not henchman) will fire and then stop firing unless told manually to keep attacking the target.
*Archers with the melee archer skill can still be interrupted by melee attacks (simply do not display interrupted! message floater). Example Leliana being attacked by 1 werewolf and not being able to get off even 1 shot, both when player controlled and when tactics controlled. In fact, when hit she would lose the target making her idle.
*Characters with dual wield will use blades to parry incoming projectiles. This also interrupts movement/action.
*Merchant in Dust Town during the Carta quest will sell you information for 30 silver. Persuading him down to 20 will still cause him to ask for 30 at the end or losing access to his shop. However, whichever way you do it, he always takes 30 copper, not silver. Also, even after you have the information, next time talking to him about the carta will force the player to take that exact same decision again.
*Allied supply box experience gain seems very uneven. Elfroot give the least, but 99 cost a mere 59 silver and give 800 xp while 30 sovereigns will only give 1100xp.
*Leliana's dialogue choices disappear when exceeding a certain influence level, meaning that her personal quest may be "skipped" that way accidentally.
*It is possible to concurrently romance Morrigan and Leliana as a male PC by telling Morrigan that you choose her and then do Leliana's personal quest.
*It is possible to concurrently romance Alistair and Leliana as a female PC by telling Leliana that you want Alistair, then do her personal quest and get back into romance with her, and then when given the second ultimatum choose her (which somehow does not cause a breakup with Alistair).
*When completing the Nature of the Beast quest and letting Zathrian live, talking to Sarel will result in dialogue referring to Lanaya being keeper and assuming Zathrian is dead...
*It is possible to complete the Urn of Scared Ashes quest by letting the Urn be and dealing with the cultists and then go back inside and poison the ashes without influence consequences for Alistar and Leliana (i.e. not even an intimidate check required anymore). This also nets additional XP and a battle against the guardian. Note that doing so will still cause Wynne to leave next time in camp.
*If saving the Urn and then poisoning the ashes, the epilogue will still assume that you saved it without poisoning it.
*Golem registry quest does not give any quest reward, even though dialogue implies one is given.
*It is possible to get werewolf random encounters on the map even after curing the curse, that turns everyone back into their normal forms.
*All DLC inventory is also permanently lost at the end of the Dwarven Noble Origin.
*Dealing 253 damage in 1 hit as warrior did not give the Heavy Hitter achievement. Next time (a day later) dealing 267 did however. Interest as the character page and the Social page both displayed 253 as most damage.
*Elite achievement is not given if you distribute both specialization points during a single levelup. I saved up both points until level 17 and then distributed both in 1 go getting only the Veteran achievement.
*Telling the Kennel master is Ostagar that you want no reward after the flower quest will not only result in no gold gain, but also no XP gain.
*Killing the carta thugs in the Import store in Orzammar normally results in the merchant running off and no access to the store. However, if you talk to the merchant immediately after the thugs are defeated, you can access his store and buy important gifts etc. Once the corpses become lootable, he will then run off, but you have what you need already.
*Random encounter on Forest Clearing against Werewolves has a Camp Fire which is clickable with the dialogue icon, but clicking it does nothing.
More when I think of them again...

The warrior skill Bravery does nothing (i do not notice an increase in damage on my char sheet or in game, even with 15+ enemies).
+ healing recieved items does not work with healing spells.
+ % damage items do not stack past 30%.
In phase 1 of redcliffe fight, only a few zombies came and the rest were wandering around in the green mist for a few minuts, i had to go in to the mist and bring them out.
Blood dragon armor chest piece is black on female elf.
Shapeshifter is just terrible spec and needs a major buff.
