*After loading a game character looks (armor/helmet etc) are refreshed. However after transitioning areas and then changing equipment, main character look is no longer updated until you save/load the game again, regardless of armor you are wearing.

*It is possible to hand over smuggled lyrium to the high templar in denerim even if you have sold it.

The note about the Keeper's 'second' is wrong according to Lanaya, who says she is his 'first'. Or she's wrong...



Characters (including main) auto-fire with an apprentice/mage/blackwood staff, but not an enchanter's staff. I have to make her fire manually while waiting for cooldowns.



Device Mastery + high cunning (80) does not discover all pressure plate traps in the werewolf lair. Specifically the traps just inside the entrance and to the left.



Not a bug per se, but ugly. Dalish female chest armor expands the exposed torso to fit the armor so that the skin is flush with the belt. This leads to a completely vertical spine (no butt) and a wider waist in the front. This is what happens when you replace skin with armor (having painted-on skin if it shows skin) instead of applying armor as an overlay mesh. This also contributes to the skin on the character's head not matching the tone of the skin on the rest of their body while wearing any kind of clothing or armor.

*It seems that if you enter the Mountaintop the first time automatically via conversation with Kolgrim, you can then exit and re-enter for an extra XP gain which would normally be awarded on manual first entry into the area.

*There is no dialogue option telling Alistair that there were no mages left in the tower to perform the ritual when talking to him in camp after sacrificing Isolde using the blood ritual. It seems to assume that you never went to the Circle Tower to begin with.

*Item set bonuses are lost when transitioning to camp or picking up henchmen from camp. Note that the bonus loss only applies to henchmen and never to the main. To fix, one has to manually (never does it automatically) unequip one item from the set and re-equip it.

*Wearing a metal helmet seems to also apply chain to the neck, but in a rather ugly and somewhat ridiculous fashion. (see using helm of the deep on elf female for example)

Only just noticed this thread, read the first post but couldn't see it listed.



*As per the above post, item set bonuses are lost whenever transitioning from camp.



*Bloody Grasp icon does not disappear short of being dispelled.

- Hungry Deserter quest - didn't agree to find food, found out about his key, killed him for it. Journal says I agreed to find food, got some from guard, and now must decide whether to give it to the (now dead) prisoner. This was shown in repeated demos and this bug got through? Come on...



So many bugs in this game; it's reminding me of BG2 in more ways than one to be sure.



Oh, and last night I ran a dwarf commoner from start to Ostagar and didn't lose any of my DLC items. Woot!

*When finished selling Lyrium to Godwin and returning to Rogek, killing Rogek results in the quest update reading that you failed to deliver Lyrium to Godwin instead.



*When doing the Carta quest for Harrowmont while having the Betrayal from Within quest active, after killing Jarvia, the Betrayal from Within quest updates to "plant papers to implement Harrowmont" even if you never went back to Vartag to inform him of Harrowmonts plan and thus never had the papers to begin with. Clicking on Jarvia's Personal Effects chest nevertheless allows you to plant those non-existent papers.

*Sometimes when you kill something and then walk away and then return later the "blood" will spawn on the ground again from where the corpse was.

Not really a bad bug but well I encountered something wierd.



Romancing with both Leliana and Morrigan, when you talk first to morrigan she brings up with having to chose one of them (doesn't break relationship). When you haven't received Morrigan's ring already, she brings up this comment after you have chosen her. When the dialog ends, and talk to her again she brings the ring topic again. Thus you end up with "two" Morrigan's ring.

- There are so many invisible walls in this game; makes it hard to play a ranged character sometimes, and sometimes gives the enemy ranged characters an advantage. I'm often able to clearly see an enemy while looking past an object (using camera to verify line of sight) yet the game won't let me attack; instead it runs me around to where I'm fully exposed to everyone else. Good level design there...

- Trying to shoot enemies partially hidden by hills/mounds is a pain too; they always manage to get their shot over the hill while I'm almost always shooting into the hill. Both of these issues would be utterly laughable in a first person shooter where pixels mean life or death. I expect FPS performance from any 3D game allowing ranged combat. Even Oblivion lets me shoot right past a pillar (just missing by pixels) to hit a target behind it. Can't do that in this game.

- Fire pits in Ostagar have some sort of metallic reflective surface under the wood instead of burnt material. For example check the fire pit on the upper level behind the king's tent where a soldier is teaching other soldiers about darkspawn.

- Ostagar again; there are bushes and other objects floating in mid air and ground falling away too soon on the cliff side leaving exposed wall edges (paper thin as is often the case). Admittedly you have to go off the beaten path to see some of this, but that's what QA is supposed to be doing.

- Clicking on the ground to move ignores walk mode; the character always runs regardless. Yes, my evil mage prefers to walk, even though it takes longer. It's funny having others in the group because they only know how to run. So it's run to catch up - stop - run to catch up - stop, ad nauseum.

During the quest for Sten's sword it wont update after talking to Faryn, even when he tells you who has the sword (Dwyn). I have had this on 2 characters now so I have never been able to finish this quest :-(

About "floating objects" there is a area that annoy me ALOT... Its a quest area (can't remember where)... There are lots of wolfs and once you have killed them all a bear will spawn.



Anyway Everything float at that location... The "blood" is like 1m above the ground.

you lose the blood dragon armor as dwarf commoner also , i lost it i had to disable it and enable it again

also it looks like someone at Bioware fell asleep when they associated Bergen's Honor and gave it a templar look while the real look is in the game which is really like the icon , look there to see a fix (not mine) but the fix dont really work well because in conversations the helmet stays on http://social.biowar...ct_media_id=605


it would be nice if Bioware fix it so it works as intended

did you tryed to talk to that Dwyn guy ? my quest was nt updating too but i spoke to him and it worked and got the sword

- I got the Insidious achievement (set 25 traps) despite never setting a single trap. I already have Lightning Reflexes for disarming 25 traps.



- Because of the line of sight bug I mentioned before (with AI), it's impossible to leave combat mode just by going out of sight for awhile. I have to move away from the enemy in a radial direction to get out of combat. This makes leaving certain robbery zones a pain because I can't take the exit while in combat mode, despite having no one attacking me. If it was like other games I've played, combat mode wouldn't start until I was detected or otherwise left stealth.

I don't know what you mean by "move away in a radial direction" but I found it annoying too that I couldn't leave the robbery area because I was still in "combat" even though there were no enemies within sight and I was using stealth.

when playing an elf and you recruit zevran while ohgren is with you he says something like so now we accept elves in our team and say something like our standard lowers or some and you get  a approval hit , i mean you are an elf it s kind of wrong if you aks me there should be a check if you are an elf and if so he says something else instead


also what Bregen's Honor should look like instead of the stupid templar helmet (maybe it could be another color though)

if you take one rogue and have the rest of your party hold position, you can stealth past a dungeon full of enemies, and when the rogue arrives at a cutscene your entire party is there with him.

^- Interesting bug :P but ye that have to be fixed. Another problem this bring is that you see like 20 people infront of you and you think "AMBUSH" and then you move your characters so they are ready and then you walk over and talk to the npc.. And then every companion get teleported to you :P

Big Leliana bug: Leliana's question options disappear and you cannot do anything with her but ask her about an area. I cannot get her plot quest now and I bumped her approval to 100. This has happened to a few people.

Sometimes the textures on companions or npcs is really bugged, and many different clothing textures flash on the clothing.

Small bug: If you bring along Morrigan while doing the "Paragon of her kind" quest, she mentions Oghrens wife forsaking him for the other sex whilst bantering.

In the korkari wilds when I meet Morrigan, she tries to tell me I've disturbed ashes that have not been touched in a long time, even if I avoid looting the ashes and avoid summoning that demon.

she speaks of the thing that is supposed to hold the scrolls you are sent for not the other ashes , it s not connected at all
