God, that DLC was a bigger disappointment than Deception.

I haven't actually played Omega yet, but I can't say that the concept of kicking Cerberus out of Omega is unappealing.Rifneno wrote...

Personally, I wanted to fight the Collectors; however, for whatever reason, I just don't enjoy fighting the Reapers, either in SP or in MP. I don't find them a hugely fun opponent. I'm fine with doing so for plot reasons, but I assume the reason we aren't fighting Reapers more often is that Shepard's and the Normandy's capabilities are simply better suited to fighting Cerberus. Elite commando teams are more useful, on the whole, against the relatively conventional Cerberus forces; Reapers usually take overwhelming force.Rifneno wrote...

It's not, of course. But frankly I'm with the "this war is about the Reapers, why are we spending all our time fighting Cerberus?" crowd. I want to fight the true enemy. Beyond that, there's no interesting reveal to Omega. The storyline is very bleh. It's a combat-centric DLC, not a story-centric one. ME3's combat is certainly fun but story is what brought it to the dance. And for the most expensive DLC ME has ever had? Very disappointing.

Do you guys really think Bioware would troll us like this?
- "high potential for tears"
- Joker, The Normandy's Pilot returning
- All The Writers
We will take control of one of our companions in this DLC a la Joker in ME2 and rescue Shepard some way some how and reunite with our friends and allies at last.
Come on guys this is the only way true peace can be achieved between the BSN, Bioware, and Shepard's story.

It always boggles my mind just how little understanding bioware has on the effects their statements have...
They have to be aware of the fact that approx. 80% of all ME enthusiasts want different endings or at least something that adds to them, expands them or saves Shep or whatever.
They have to be aware that remarks like "high potential for tears" and the "involvement of all writers" fuel the hope many of the players have that bioware might redeem themselves.
Obviously they don't want to do anything with the endings anymore but fail to realize what effect their remarks have on the community. How many "We're gonna go look for Shep!"-threads are there already?
And then, when the dlc is released or shown off for the first time, the disappointment that it's just another boring war-asset mission will be all the greater... maybe, instead of giving the players hope for something that won't happen they should just keep quiet until they've got some material to show off....

No it wont. The Hatfields and McCoys forgave their grudges faster than the BSN people will.
It'll be picked apart, hated extremely for the smallest inconsistencies, and will never be forgiven or accepted.
Also Seth Green recording doesn't mean diddly squat. I've heard that Freddy Prinze Jr was at the airport with Jessica Merizan(I think on a flight to Edmonton) so that probably means James will have some dialogue.
Also Bioware has put their foot down on this issue. No more ending expansion.

Considering that would only fit the Destroy ending, it's almost an implausible idea.
My best guess is that it'll involve evacuating the Citadel during Priority: Earth.
Anyone else find the repetition of the phrase "I'm done reapetedly saying we're done" hilarious?Brovikk Rasputin wrote...
