I'm really interested in buying the Omega DLC, but I wanted to know from others who have played it: is it really worth the price?
Is the Omega DLC worth 1200 points/$15.00?

I personally would say yes, but a lot of others will probably say no.

it depends .. if you want to shoot cerberus mooks again - then maybe yes.
a lot of people - including me - say it is not worth that much money .. 800points .. yeah .. why not .. but 1200 is too much.

A big, resounding yes.Vulsamee wrote...

No, it's not. It doesn't add anything to the story other than some Aria and more boring cerberus fights.

Definitely yes.

I would say no. It is more an 800 BW points DLC. It's just a shooting gallery with some dialogues here and there. Nothing special plus no squadmates inside the DLC so consider also this.

I would say that leviathan is the better of the two. Its story is more interesting.Aria on the other hand is most interesting thing about Omega

Well let's hope for some some discounts on bioware points then. Then there will be no doubt for you. :-)

Do you REALLY like Aria and the combat aspect of the game? If you don't answer yes to both of those, or an extremely emphatic yes to at least one, wait for a sale. Personally I couldn't fathom what justified the price increase on Omega. I'd call it a decent to good DLC at $10. But at $15? I wouldn't do that again, that's for sure.

I would wait.

I'm in the same boat, I buy all the dlc's but I haven't made a move on this yet.
Too much for too little I was told.

If you like Aria and Omega, get it.
Aria is one of my favorite characters, and I think it's a good DLC.

15 $ is expensive for sure.
BUT it's a great DLC, it has the best level design and fights of all the ME games, some new great enemies like the adjudants or Custom Loki mechs, even the story and evolution of Aria is good.
So if you really like ME3 yeah it's worth 15 bucks.

It really isn't unfortunately. It's completely divorced from the main plot, and after you finish it everything goes back to normal, like if nothing ever happened.

I haven't played it so i can't give you a proper answer but i would suggest you look it up on youtube first and if you see what you like buy it.

No. It is almost only fighting without a deep story. Leviathan is cheaper and better.

Not really. While the DLC is pretty solid (depending on whether you like Aria/shooting at Stormtroopers), it's mostly shooting without very much variety. The only part I found memorable was the beginning of the mission where you first encouter Adjutants.
All in all, I found it too expensive for its content, but I'm no fan of second coming of the Sith Emp- erm, of Cerberus in ME3.
If, however, you like Aria and a decent story that is mostly separate from the main plot, it might be to your liking.

Would you all recommend Leviathan instead?

I am not excited about any ME3 DLC so far... I read the Omega reviews and this cemented my opinion. Shadow Broker is now the standard. Sorry Bioware, but I will not buy any single-player DLC if it is not up to the LOtSB's quality... But thanks for all the free MP stuff!
