So yesterday I got the Ultimate edition when it was on sale on Steam. I registered the DLC without problem, and I decided that I want to check out the toolset. For whatever reason however, the CD key for the game itself isn't working. If I try it on Bioware, it says the code is not valid for this game. If I try it on Origin, then the german version works but the english one says that the URL is broken or old.
Does anybody know why this is happening? And more importantly, if there's any way to fix it?

You asked a Tech Question, and the Social site here can no longer be used for those. Social has been downgraded, and all of the Self-help Tech here was locked, so you are supposed to go to Answers.HQ.Com, or to EA Help to ask about Tech.

You have nothing to apologize for. It is Bioware / EA who owe YOU the apology. They are the ones who screwed this site up from the day it opened, and never got it right before EA decided they would pull the plug here, instead of finishing the job begun 3 1/2 years ago. You very naturally should have expected to be able to ask your question SOMEWHERE here on this site.
