More details can be found in one of the strategy pages - such as http://dragonage.wik...aith_(strategy) or http://social.biowar...index/6427392/1

Basically, avoid his light show by hiding behind the pillars, and steer clear from the rollerball attack.

Ooooooo, hex of Torment, hey, had no idea that works. I always thought hex of torment was a Useless spell.

Go into the talent screen, scroll to the specialization you want and you should be able to pick that spec. There is no need to unlock specializations like in DAO - there are three specs per class and you can pick two of those.
what specialization screen ?? I can't find that

They are right there with your other talent trees. They are just greyed out until you assign spec point to them. Here is the Templar tree for a warrior.
I think I already have all 3 specialization for the Mage. but I still have 2 more specialization points. what do I use these for ? there are no more grayed out specialization slots. Is there any way I can dual class or get some specialization like worriors do ? is not, is there any Cheats for that ?

You should get a spec point at level 7 and 14 - so unless you've modded or used some sort of console command, you shouldn't have all 3 unlocked, let alone any extra.
If you're desperate to cheat/ruin any sort of game balance (which makes me still wonder why you're on nightmare) you can add ability trees via console commands. all the information you need is here.
Enable console then add various classes/ability trees for 'dual classing'.
In regards to the rock wraith, try using cold and spirit damage as well as getting some electricity warding runes. It's easiest if you deal a lot of damage fast, so it doesn't change into a ball and start chasing you around.

Nightmare level is more fun. how do I add ability tree via console command ? what is the command again ? and if I add the worrior ability then am I effectively a mage/ worrior then ?

You'll need to enable the console first:
Make a shortcut to your "DragonAge2.exe" file (typically located in the C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age II\\bin_ship folder) on your desktop, Start Menu, or wherever. Right click on the shortcut, choose properties, then add the following to the end of line in the "Target" field: -enabledeveloperconsole
e.g.
"C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age II\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
(with a single space between the last quotation mark and the hyphen
You then can choose the keyboard key to access the console (the default is the tilde '~' key I believe).
Once in the game you simply press the console key (e.g. '~') then type in various commands. The typing is invisible, so you'll just have make sure you don't make any typos.
But basically, you can heal your party, remove injuries, add money, and all the other various cheats you were looking for by typing:
runscript healplayer
runscript injury remparty
runscript addmoney X
etc
Custom classes etc can be obtained by adding or removing talents.
runscript addtalent XXX
runscript removetalent XXX
The codes that you need are all in the link I gave you, but here it is again.
e.g. if you want to add a reaver spec you'll have to add the ability tree:
runscript addtalent 109000
then add the base talent for that tree:
runscript addtalent 109001
Individual abilities for the new trees can added via entering their specific code, or you can level them up in the usual way at level-up.
Custom dual classes (or triple classes) can be fun at first, but they spoil the balance of the game. Warrior abilities are designed with warrior weapons/base damage in mind, so on a rogue or mage they become greatly overpowered. Companion ability trees are the most overpowered, so unless you want to completely remove any challenge, I wouldn't recommend adding too many abilities.

Everyone here is really nice and helpful, but I fear that you're cheating yourself out of a lot of fun that could be had with this game by discovering and learning. There is no shame on reloading a save point back in town to stock up on more potions/kits - that is part of the fun of the game.
P.S. I just went through this fight the other day - I tried twenty times on Hard (without Hex), and had to take it back down to Normal, even after reading guides and forums and reloading from town to do a full respec. Basically, it was lagging my computer so badly that the Wraith was hitting my guys when they were supposed to be out of reach. At that point, I decided it wasn't challenging anymore, just broken, and I went back to Normal for that fight. Someday I'll beat it, but I'll need to build a party specifically for that fight - that is the challenge.
