I´d rather they use someone totally unknown new actors so the zots for the game do not go to the salaries of the famous actors.

Edit: I was referring to voice actors. As character I do not want any real life people. Tallis was painfull enough. + the cost issue.

Why does everyone want real people in the game... :< I rather they design their own characters without basing them on someone, especially if it costs money that can go elsewhere.

I hope they don't use any remotely notable actors/models/public figure's faces in the game. Because 9 times out of 10 when they do that they're firmly stuck in Uncanny Valley creepy mode. Its fine if they base a face off of some unknown model and tweak it from there but I'd rather they not go the route of Felicia Day and the like. That's awful.

I really hope they don't try to model someone in game, I've never liked the way they turned out. I think to make it work they would have to go for a less cartoony animation. I don't have a problem with cartoony, but it just doesn't work.

And they probably won't, at least not with anybody too recognizable. Honestly I thought Felicia Day's face on Tallis was fine. She was one of the best-looking elves in the whole game (which is not maybe saying much given how ugly every elf that wasn't named Fenris and Merrill were).

At any rate, this thread was created for fun. I very much doubt BioWare's people even look at threads like this, and if they do, I doubt they're reaction is going to be, "Aha! Great idea! Let's do that!".
