For now Bioware said Dragon Age: Awakening will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Does everyone knows if they're going to make a mac version? That would be nice, especially for mac users

Since the original is on mac I'd assume so, may come out a month later or so though.

The Mac version is a slightly altered PC version basically running through Wine. I'm guessing they'll have to make the expansion first, and then see how well it works on Wine.

Not to start a mac/pc thread, but ever since Macs switched to Intel processors with the ability to dual boot windows, I have a hard time seeing there being any real economic incentives for mac porting these days.



That said, if the original is available for mac, I can't see why the expansion wouldn't be. Eventually.

The Mac user must still purchase a separate Windows license.



You also seem to miss the fact that Macs are gaining in market share while Microsoft is losing market share. Microsoft is still the prohibitive market leader, but there is more reason to do Mac ports now that market share is higher.
