I was wondering has anyone else had a issue with the PS3. I actually finished the game and when I did I decided to start a new game with a different type of character and when I did this my original game disappeared. I was mad as hell and was wondering did I do something wrong or is there something else to it. I would appreciate any advice and discussion on this issue.

Ps3 User here, with one complete playthrough. Under your Load list after the credits, one should be listed as Epilogue.
If thats not there, then maybe go into your Saves and check.

there should be a "chose character" option on the load game screen as well. or perhaps if you gave both characters the same name it may have overwritten the old one, never tried that

I would like to think you. I have been playing rpg's for a long time and never realized that actually use a switch character with a separate screen. I appreciate it at least now I know I did not waste 40 hours worth of game play.

My wife had the same problem...she was , to say...a little upset...until l pointed out the use of the Square? button on the load screen:).
Think its a great system too, instead of having all your saves on one list to scroll and hunt thru...espeically for players like myself who have like 8 characters:)
