Not the way banter works currently. When you enter the camp, you no longer have anyone in your party... everyone is "kicked out", as it were, until you leave. So it's not something we could patch in without changing the way banter works (which always checks to see who's in your party currently), even if we wanted to... and I'm not sure I'd be willing to make the camp a "dialogue zone" any more than it already is. To be honest, I'd almost rather make it so that the only way to truly develop a party member's relationship with you is that you have to take them along in the active party. But that's another thing entirely.Torias wrote...
One request (might be patchable):
Could banter be triggered when I visit the party camp? Maybe if I walk up to the camp fire...
Way late to this party, but I think that would be an excellent change. I find myself spending far too much time in camp exploring dialogue options with my companions than out on the road battling darkspawn. I think it would additionally increase the amount of playability by virtue of requiring us to focus our attention on a limited number of characters at a time. If that could be combined with varying the way each companion behaves around and responds to our character based on who else is in the group could really expand the experience. For example, Alistair might be more hesitant to open up to our character if Morrigan is in the party - Morrigan might be more abrasive and forward if Alistair is... (Not far from the truth anyway.)
