There is a bit of a 3-way when Liliana and the Warden are chatting about Alistair's erm...performance, and he comes over and asks what everyone is giggling about.

I know what you mean about finding new things all the time. I'm playing again, and you think after 80 hours of gameplay, I'd have heard it all. But no-- particularly Oghran. He's a scream, especially when you liquor him up a bit.

I had it after romance with Alistair and getting to BFF levels with Liliana (she'd sang the song). I think you need to be walking around, not in camp.

thx, i have indeed never heard this before, but being male, i did not romanced Alistair that often in my playthroughs
But it's still hilarious, thank you very much for that link

I wrote Alistair, Morrigan, Zevran and Shale. Sheryl wrote Leliana, Dog, Wynne and Oghren (although Jay Turner wrote a lot of Oghren as well, I think). Mary wrote Sten and (the spoiler companion). Typically, however, we each wrote of the lot of the other characters in the banter.MrHimuraChan wrote...
Oh, Hi Mr. Gaider! Can you tell us wich characters you wrote? (If you wrote Oghren you deserve a barrel of ale, i'll pay!) My cumpliments again!
You should write a book.i would be first to buy it.That would be hilarious

I was curious to know how long have you been thinking of the DA world? I know the game itself has been 5 years in the making, but have you had this idea since you were a kid perhaps? Also, for my novel I have probably a page of notes for every written and completed page of the story. Is this true for the DA team as well?
I commend the entire team on such a job well done. I imagine transferring the story to game format brought about it's own troubles.
EDIT: Per the previous post. It is actually Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne and Dragon Age: The Calling. Both are interesting reads.

Being a writer myself I know how daunting a task it can be to make a world on such an epic scale. For instance, creating the geography, writing a history for certain areas and families, essentially creating a religion and having a plethora of characters to write backgrounds, moods and tendencies for is exhausting on the brain.

Published? I cannot say that I do. I have about ten short stories and I am working on a large scope novel as we speak. Right now I have around 180 pages done and I am half way through perhaps. It is an extremely difficult process for me because I tend to proof a ridiculous amount and change much of what I have written. So a chapter may take a month. >.<
i love books
I hope it will be good
what is it
Sci-fi,Action,Romance...
and is there a name

It's Fantasy actually, though it has little magic, dragons, phantasmal creatures.

My Question: Mr. Gaider, given that Dragon Age Origins matches the length and complexity of any major blockbuster film, I could not help but wonder if DA:O was made to suffer the age old disservice of having particular amazing or comical character or story moments removed for reasons of time from the final cut. Since it has been assertained that you are largely responsible for the majority of the great character moments and sub-plots, I have to ask if there were 'any' moments or lines of dialogue to which you were partial that you were forced to cut from the final cut of Dragon Age? If so, I would very much like to have a few examples and wonder if we might see those moments brought out, modified slightly, and shown in future chapters of the DA Saga, and if so, which ones?
I understand the tight schedual you and the other members of Dragon Age's writing team are under, but if you so choose to answer, it would be a true joy to read. Thank you.

I think the reason they didnt go with Interactive banter between you and the party is because how would it feel if Zev was talking dirty to Leliana like he always does and it throws you into a cutscene for a response while Darkspawn are hitting ya lol on second thought do it..I would die laughing...
Well I would assume they would make the mechanic work only out of combat. It would kinda be funny to be in a cutscene and watch darkspawn wailing on your party.
Well maybe the first time after that tho...
