Guardians need a buff, too.
They're just slow walking harmless targets.
I propose to add an exploding effect which does 150k damage over a 50m radius, with a cospicuous dot, of course.

Let's face it, even a lone geth trooper is underpowered, it needs a melee upgrade, geth troopers miss too often with their standard melee, I propose to switch that to our geth pulse melee, doubling the radius and enhancing the damage to 2k/second.

This for now.

She can fire more than one shot if she pleases; I've seen her do it before. She can run and STILL score an accurate shot and more than just one. I believe the Nemesis is one of the only Cerberus units that actually tries to avoid being killed.

-No sync-kills, that's just an artificial difficulty and a cheap way of buffing an enemy.
-She might as well have a stomp, but I'd rather the Nemesis units stayed the way they are. That stomp mechanic is retarded and enemies leave themselves wide open and she's too fragile to afford to be out in the open stomping when she can be sniping.
-She should have a tactical cloak instead of the Phantom having it.
-She should have the movement speed of the Dragoons, and the Dragoons should have her movement speed.
-I do believe she should have a melee. I would go for a quick elbow that'll stagger all kits(even Krogans) to allow her to cloak and run away.

and my favorite "Merrrh..."

also the Nemesis sounds on Ghost Hazard when their shields are down and still taking a shower.

-flash bang grenade followed up by an elbow of doom and a no scope. then proceeds to stomp. perfect synergy.
-cloak would make sense.. adding it.
- i thought she had the movement speed of a dragoon.. i would like her to have a melee, a flashbang, cloak, stomp and burst fire.

The whole point of the one shot is shieldgate i.e. thou shalt not be oneshotted by any enemy.

Multiple shots would break that.

That being said behaving more like the HL2 sniper would  still be single shots but fired faster.

I guess at its simplest, it drastically lowers her cooldown for Assasinate.

If anything they simply need a cooldown decrease on their "assassination" shot (laser sight line-up, not the quick scope one).

Nemesis are mostly "support" units, by themselves they wont kill you, but they set you up to be killed by Dragoons, Phantoms, and Centurions who dont have to attempt to whittle down your shields because the Nemesis did that for them.

Of course try playing on Rio when 3+ Nemesis are on the field at once... I think I might have died probably 2-3 times via Nemesis before this... in one game alone (Gold) I must have died at least 3 times in one wave from those damn b1tches. Every time I popped out of cover to throw a grenade and shoot my shields were down and I was health gated almost instantly. This was probably the first (and so far only) time I've ever been massively impressed with the power of Nemesis units. (I'm guessing some deaths were because of the healthgate cooldown).

Overall though, just increase their tendency to use "assassinate" and perhaps change the wave spawn mechanics to always have them spawn in pairs with Dragoons or Phantoms (so there is something pressing forward to finish you off after she drops your shields).

Yeah, Nemesis is behind Guardians in terms of cerberus threats. She has a point, but she specializes too much. She could use some close range, or maybe a tactical cloak as she flees, or something. She doesn't need a sync kill or anything. A stomp would be counterproductive as she doesn't stay in CQC.
Grenades would be over the top.

I guess go with her strengths for a buff.

Guardians don't really need a buff. They're plenty dangerous to people who don't have cover piercing/denial ammo or to people that don't know how to, or can't mail slot. :P
Ever see a Krogard repeatedly charge these guys, and melee their shields trying in vain to kill a guardian?

Guardians could use larger numbers though. When you see 5 guardians (rare, I know) in a conga line coming after you at close range, and all you have is an SMG for cover piercing, it can get a bit intimidating trying to kill them fast enough.

The talons they carry aren't too bad.

Guardians just aren't being utilized properly any more, I guess.

the troopers have the hornet burst fire and shield gate still applys. burst fire so her non charge shots dont miss as often.
Nemesis charge shot cooldown with lack of other abilitys make her the least threatening in the faction alone. even the guardian has a shield that if you dont have piercing he is really hard to kill.
nemesis need a buff in cooldown charge shots and needs to shoot more often when not charging shots, simplest way to buff her.
but i want her to replace phantoms and dragoons but with those simple buffs shes not going to move up in rank.
she needs to be buffed significanly so she can be ranked with the dragoons and phantoms in the deadliness department.

Why not tripple her base damage and ingnore both shield and health gate making her raptor sync kill.

i agree with you sir.
but i want them to stomp..they deserve a stomp if they manage to kill you within melee range. and she needs to carry smoke or a flashbang if your close to retreat. cloak so she isnt vulnerable while just sitting in cover waiting for her shields to come back up. a melee so she can no scope you right after like marauders/geth rocket troopers do.

i remember back when that i used to fear guardians because i couldnt pierce their shield.

a stomp would be counterproductive. im sure she would love to execute a player she downed when they were trying to melee her to death.

I've never seen her non-Assasinate shots miss. They're too quick to dodge. Assasinate shots can only be dodged if you get in cover.
Well I said give her the phantom's firing pattern (but a little lower damage, that pew-pew is ridiculous any way you slice it) when she's not in cover. Otherwise I stand by my mobile sniping turret. I think that's plenty deadly without being cheap or ridiculous.

Dragoons could use a damage nerf for their guns or a speed nerf. Probably both.

nemesis can miss her non charge shots if you walking with adrenaline mods on. she misses all the time when i play my shadow.

so buff Nemesis nerf Dragoons. fair trade.

Dragoons need their speed lowered to that of a trooper and they dont need guns. they should have been like a geth pyro, only effective at close range.

is her suit was nerfed she would be naked. meaing its actually a buff. but if you buff her power and give her new ones, you wont be distracted youll be focused.
