what i'm most curious about is what is alistair going to be doing if you didn't make him king? I can't see why he would be giving my warden missions if he wasn't king, so will he just have a smaller part than or will bioware do something like kill anora off so alistair has to be king?

Possibly he is the head of the Warden's then, and gives you the mission as your Senior, but it is a good question.

In regards to a poster above, the only thing I had different happen to me (which I didn't do) was concerning Isolde. It says in the codex she gave her life, but the annoying **** is still at Redcliffe because I got help from the mages. But that was it though, and I can live with the expansion thinking I killed Isolde without losing Alistair rep.

The codex isn't always right when you think about it. It could be just a glitch in the entry or they just didn't feel like typing up a different one and did a half ass job if you will.



The thing with Alistair I think that will really depend on what you did in the game. I'm sort of hoping that you get to pick who your DA:O companion is. I need my eye candy around afterall.

While I'm sure it would be thrilling, having multiple companions that we would need to write up in their entirety only to allow you to have ONE of them would be a massive waste of resources. Considering that the budget for an expansion is already pretty small, it's not really feasible.

I was just hoping for Leliana because she gives those 'tender' moments in a game of dark fantasy. Well my hardened Leliana, so she is little less "maker this, maker that". But yeah. The songs, and stories, and general idle chatter, soft and warmth in a world of death and chaos.

Melo said there would be cameos so I'm sure Leliana and Zev will make an appearance, especially if you romanced one of the two, Alistair we know for a fact will be there. Too big a part of your characters story to simply overlook and even as NPC's they can still hold an important role to your character and the story, or maybe just a quick appearance before they die.

If Alistair ends up my superior as a warden I would be TICKED!  Even Riorden acknowledged you as senior warden.  That would be lame, sorry.
